ALSO SET UP FOR KotH NOW RECLAIMER For my 1st map that I built on Sandbox, I have decided to build a sky map for several reasons 1. I have always loved Gaurdian 2. I found the sky bubble the coolest part of sandbox 3. I was sick of making ground level maps on foundry This map was very heavily influenced by the maps Blackout and Gaurdian. I've always wanted to see more maps like those, so when Mythic came out, I thought; hey why not make one myself? So here you have it, my very 1st map built on Sandbox. It took me approx. 14 hours to complete (I know long time) and I used up every item that I could before the object limit stopped me. It is strictly for slayer gametypes, I didn't set it up for any other ones because I don't think that they would be very fun and also i ran out of items. It is asymetric as you can see, but the sides are still quite balanced out. Wow this looks like a lot of fun. Guardian is my favorite map and Blackout is third so I am definitely going to like this map. I love the red and blue buildings. Right now it gets a 4.5/5 just because I have not played a game on it yet but I will be. This is definitely worth a download.
I like how you made those bridges with the posts and railings. It gives the map some hallway feeling. It seems you spent some time placing the weapons carefully. 4.99999/5 I'm evil

well obviously you all are spamming because as of the time of this post his map only had one DL, until i clicked it and made it 2. which means you all lied. edit- anyways, i checked the map out in forge and it looks like it might be pretty fun to play so im going to save it and try to get some games in. i like the way you made your bases a lot, but i think there might not be enough cover breaking the lines of sight across the middle of the map?
This is a really great map! Don't worry about those other people, they may have lied or they may have not..who knows. Anyways, this is a cool looking map, and seems like it would be great for team slayer, snipers, ect. All of the different levels, walkways, and both bases are well designed. I'll download this map when I get Mythic.
It only had 1 DL at the time because when I changed the map name I also had to change the map on my fileshare.
looks great, finally a sandbox map without a 2 base and a structure in the middle, this one is terrific, there is honly about 5 maps from sandbox so far that have looked worth dl, and this one is on of them thats in the top 5. All the different routes seem to make this map have either far range or mid range fights, (finally not one with all close quarters). It seems a little bit like guardian, but im glad it wasnt made exact, and finally the weapon balance seems very well and not overpowering, great job myshotsakill
aside from the arguing, i feel that you have made a cool map. The gameplay looks fun and balanced. You also have obviously interlocked cleanly to give your map a better asthetic look. I will give it a forgethrough and give you my rating for your map.
I think it's beautifull, the merging looks clean and the gameplay looks amazing. I am super excited to get the Download. I am so happy that everyone can have the ability to float thier own maps now. I think it will make people appreicate the hard work that floaters had to go through before sandbox. Keep up the good work and good job. 4/5

This is very well thought out. Or just happened to turn out really nice. Either way, I like where you got your inspiration. You can't go wrong with ledges, walkways, and jumps. When someone shoots that fusion coil by the sniper, does it go off the map? I guess i'll go find out for myself! Reclaimer looks competitive and addicting, fantastic map, sir.
Thanks for the positive feedback! I actually drawout all of my maps before I create them, and while drawing them out I think of what would be best for the map and how it will play out, here's a picture of the rough draft (note the back entrance to the blue building is missing)
wow this is a fantastic map definate dl 4 me. great job the asthetics look good 2 i love the railing and the overall look of this map it has the feel of guardian and blackout i bet this is going 2 be fun 5/5.
You've got a couple of spawn point issues that you might want to address. When I first started my forgethrough, I was at red side base and the direction I was facing was off the map instead of down the ramp. There were a couple more like this, but that was the one that stuck out in my head the most. My suggestion would be to determine which of the two ways would be the best for the player to head towards (either power weapon or objective), and point it in that direction. The map itself is a little bumpy around the ramp areas, so having it face towards open air is just asking for a potential bad spawn. Other than that, I liked the looks of it. I'm really happy to see some asymmetric maps coming out that have more of a natural flow to them than the ones in Foundry that required a lot of jumping. I hope to get some customs on this and I'll be back with some gameplay feedback when I do.
The layout looks really cool. I like the setup you have for this map. I will be getting on Halo in a bit and I will post my thoughts about the map after I check it out.
