This does not meet requirements. You have to embed images onto the post not give a link. Fix this fast.
Some nice and interesting gameplay with the tank one, even though it does seem to be a little OP in some situations. I'd suggest trying to find a way to limit tank use (if its possible). Also, ask an admin to move this over to the casual/minigame forum; it would get more on-topic response there.
not bad - fairly original (and no lasers or mancannons!) i am collecting Sandbox Grifball variants - these seem promising but look like they could use a bit of cleaning up/smoothing - be sure the measurements for the spawns and bomb items are exact and that there are no bumps in the floor - for measurements use a spawn area dropped into the middle hole of the bomb pickup you can also lock the scorpion into position by stacking 2 upside down tin cups and placing the scorpion on top - this will lock the scorpion into position but you can still turn - if you prop the tin cups against the corner on a slight angle the scorpion can see the entire floor when you think the maps are ready, recommend them to runNOKYARDrun and i will have them tested by members of the Grifball community
Im glad you like them, I am new to forge so I am still working on the maps, I will fix them up as much I can like you guys suggested and hopefully release a new version of it today
Pretty original. Good idea using two different parts of the map (crypt and skybubble). You should embed a picture on how to get to each base though, but otherwise pretty cool
I will be remaking the 1 shot griffball map completely to look better! I am taking a lot of time on it so it comes out as perfect as possible, none of these cracks, sideways walls etc. I will aslo fix up the griffball heavy as well. I am glad you like the ideas tho!!
1 Shot Griffball Yea I have removed the one with tanks its not much fun when its hard to get to the place to plant the bomb, Version 2.0 will be released it was completely remade and everything im sure you will be surprised! Here are some screenshots of it using another game I made on it: Blue Side: Red Side: The Game Floor:
it almost looks like one of my Hallway maps - although they tend to have some form of cover at the half way point give it a try (2v2) with this game variant i will watch this thread and download when it is complete
You posted just at the right moment . It is actually complete right now lol , just uploaded the new version and posted the screenshots! Changes in version 2.0: - Red and Blue Bases Revamped - Completely remade - Spawning should work correctly
do you realize this map is 3.5 times the length of the standard Grifball court? a couple of notes: - the spawns within the gold pillars lead to a ledge where you have to jump to reach the mail floor - people will find this frustrating - fix with a tube ramp - there are no starting spawns in Grifball, although you can have more than 4 respawns on a map this size - set them to Attackers and Defenders - the shield doors interfere with goal-line stops - good for some game variants, but not for Grifball - the 'hallway' is not straight - use a spawn area (in Assault) dropped into the center hole of the bomb pickup to measure and align objects - in this case i would recommend a VIP way point instead as you can turn it to match the angle of the existing layout - the floor is not flat - i realize it is difficult to make a flat floor out of double walls but some panels were extremely misaligned
Thanks for that . Here are a couple of things: - The start points are the only way I could make it spawn everyone correctly. - I will delete the shield doors and add a ramp. Floor: We made the floor straight no lie. We made the floor and it was as straight as possible we saved and came back the next day and the floors popped out like you see on the map. We did not want to start the whole floor over due to a bug in forge that would only happen again and again.
i understand your frustration - i am having difficulty placing the last 5 panels on my 'official' skybox Grifball map pick up the bad floor panels and flip them - sometimes they will turn the other way, sometimes they will not - do a save-n-quit after fixing each floor piece
