MAP: Caution AND Caution Circuit (use racetracks gametype but add Max Gravity and slowest speed otherwise you can Cheat) GAMETYPE: Sprint All are linked Here! I got tired of the old circuit tracks where once you got behind it was damn near impossible to catch back up. My solution a sprint track!! This is a point to point race where the winner get to commit suicide!!! Not really as the round will be over before you get the opportunity to fall to your death. :-( " But that is the Fun part!" you might say. have no fear the threat of death is always present on caution! The Sprint variant i came up with is a must for this track. with normal gravity cheaters can get to the destination rather quickly. it consists of 7 rounds each player has 2 lives per round WITH a 30 second respawn timer. there is reason behind this madness with one life per round if all but one die the round is over and no points are scored. and that is just not fair to the last one left alive. and if everyone dies then they get another chance without wasting a round. however if you cant determine a lap winner with 2 lives then nobody deserves a point and the round comes to an end. gravity is at its highest and speed at its lowest so no cheating!! the racetracks worst nightmare ALSO a Battle variant of Sprint is in the works for more intense gameplay. This map is not budget glitched. i used all the money allotted. most of this map is not interlocked together because it would have drastically reduced the length of the track. it makes no difference so please don't tell me it needs more interlocking. i have a problem with people commenting on the interlocking when it has no effect on the gameplay this is an example of one of those times. i only put this in here so i don't have to say it in a reply somewhere along the thread. sorry for the rant. Starting Grid First turn ( be careful this bottleneck turn causes many deaths both inside and out) First jump ( this one is easy) Second Jump (Better keep up your speed) Second Turn ( i wanted to put something else in these thingies) Signature Jump under the Man Cannons!! This looks fantastic, amazing map and epicly forged, but could you make the track loop back to do multiple laps somehow..?
I feel that if you made the starting area smaller (Definitely feasible), you could easily make the map loop/have an uncheatable finish system That's alright though, just reread the thread and realized the gametype was meant to be a sprint. Still, it might be useful to have a circuit style version of the map for those who don't want to have to download a gametype as well.
awsome map, but you should at made it so you can keep on going, instead of race for a while then die.
Looks good I didn't see any interlocking but thats not a bad it just show that u acculay put MORE time into making because I made a racing map on the skybubble and it's really annyoing to put objects that don't go throu the bubble
guys i think it looks great already. but it does indeed need to be linked together to that we can have the pleasure of goin through it again i thought what you could do: Lessen the starting area. then make a bridge from the original finish back onto the huge first turn. i think it would work out pretty descent
the only reason it is not a multi lap track is because of budget and the threat of death throughout the entire track. i built the map and i still find myself falling off at points. and in a circuit than can put an end to your chances of winning right from the start. you guys are right though the starting area is huge. with 8 mongooses people seem to fall off rather quickly when they come together around the first turn. i could very easily make a circuit by leading from the end to halfway through the first turn. as someone suggested. i will work on that and post some pics to see what people think.
Woah dude! This map loook like really awesome! I have a question though.... is this a complete track that is a circuit or do you just die?? I love the sandbox map, I am trying to make a sick track right now but my friend Chad's xbox broke ahaha, ugh wel like i would give this a 10/10 for me haha
You die at the end of the original track and play 7 rounds of a one lap race, BUT NEW ENDING!!! I received some requests for this to be playable as a Circuit track. I went back in and changed the end. Both Tracks are available in my file share. and i have added 2 pictures to the first post.
Well, the circuit looks good just as well, but you might want to make the finish uncheatable with teleporters. It doesn't make a large difference though since it's floating. I really like your idea of a sprint race, and I think I'm going to make a variation of it for a map I'm making when I get the mythic maps.
