    The Gametype Flats Fight


    This is the second of my three colosseum map types.

    ---Colosseum Hills with Hill fight

    ---Colosseum Flats with Flats Fight

    ---Colosseum Soccer with Soccer Gametype (NO HAMMERS)

    -----Flats----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    First off, what seperates these maps from other "arena" maps, is because most other arena maps concentrate souly on the aesthetic value or gameplay. When I created this map I intended on having a balance between both. Not only is it fun to play, it looks fantastic!

    I created these maps even though of the ample amount of other "Colosseum" or "Circle arena" type maps. I downloaded a few only to be sadly dissapointed at the effort dedicated, (I look at how i could improve the Cosmetic value, gameplay, and *symmetry of the layout*)

    My Inspiration for this map was the Roman Colosseum and i took over 15 honest hours interlocking the walls!

    This is a small map played with swords, increased health and high gravity. The timeline of a typical game on this map would be:

    --Start at spawn with teamates and get a weapon of the wall if you want.
    --Run down the tunnels to the entrance to the arena.
    --Once there, enter the arena trying to get the upper hand.
    --Die and respawn, Repeat until kill limit is achieved.

    The gameplay is usually fast paced and Teleport camping is impossible, plus when just entering the arena map players get a momentary increased health and speed to futher hinder attempts at cheap kills.

    Best played with 4-14 players

    This has been done many times.. I like how you have the mancannons blocking either side tho.

    BTW.. why the long walk to the arena? **confused?**

    Regretfully, I made these maps when i first heard about interlocking but i didnt know how to post and embed images. I dident want to make one of those garbage post that people ignore, but I still do think that this map is of a way better quality then all of the other colosseum-arena type maps---that ive played/ seen.

    Oh haha! i knew i was missing somthing!
    um... not sure really i just kinda liked how while you run through the shield doors it makes a rythmic noise contributing to the coolness of the map.

    i checked this map out and yea it has been done quite a bit but i've never seen on as neat as this but i think starting with the grav hammer and placing a ghost and warthog in the arena is a bit much

    Hold on i think that i put up the wrong maptype, also the gravity hammer only spawns every 180 seconds and only 1 per team at first. Seeing as how I'm still willing to work on it ill fix these problems and put the modified version in the map descrip.

    BTW thanks for the feedback!






    [edit] ...ok done i fixed it, so now theres no warthog and the truck in center is turned.
