...ruining the experience for others by negatively reviewing something they have yet to play. I've been a regular visitor to Forgehub for at least a year. I've been a member for most of that. I have a beef with people doing this: 1. Visiting a thread for a map/gametype and rating it, based on the pictures, and then not even taking the time to download it and try it out. 2. Looking at the pictures, try to give 'contructive criticism' when they haven't even played on it. I'm tired of reading through some of the forums, reading some of these posts and finding that some people think, for example, " It looks like you can cheat there in the middle, where the two ramps are close together, so I'm giving you 3 out of 5 stars." or "It doesn't look like it's that much fun, from what I can see in the pictures, there's not a long enough line of sight. I'll give you a 2 out of 5 stars." or "Your map isn't orignal, but I don't have the map pack required, so I can't download it. Otherwise, I might give you a higher rating." ARGHH! --What? are you seriously going to rate someone's map because it 'looks' like someone can cheat? Download the map, download the gametype, try it out. Otherwise, you have no say!
