Extra Sandbox Space ______________________________________ My friend found out this trick to get outside of the skybubble on Sandbox and I had the No Guardians map by Caboose 16. So we had the idea to combine the two so there would be around 2x the forging space as original Sandbox. You can place anything anywhere in the dunes and to get extra space in the Skybox, just fly through the teleporter on the left when you enter the skybubble. You still have to float things like old times in the extra space in the sky bubble as there is no grid. Pictures: You can see the person out in the dunes not getting shot by guardians. A look at the teleporters to get extra skybubble space. You can see how much budget you have. Another look at how extensive your forging space is And an easter egg my friend showed me. Again DL here: Extra Sandbox Space Thanks to: Caboose 16 for no guardians xPurePh33rx for the extra skybubble space and the easter egg.
Wow, this will really help out making maps larger. The skybox is already as large as Avalanche so now we can build huge maps. Having to use the old method won't be as easy to use as the grid but their is always a compromise with getting something new. I think this is a great adition to the Forgehub Comunity and thank you.
Wow. This is amazing. Do the items you place outside stay, like on the grid? I hope so. This could be very useful.
Pretty sweet. I probably won't use it, because I hate floating objects, but this is a great contribution to Forgeub. I've got the no gaurdians map, but this is better for hardcore forgers. Great job! 9/10.
>.< congadulations, you didn't do anything! A nother person did it, posted it, then you did it again. Good job. Besides the fact you didn't make (don't know why you're posting it) it's really cool to have extra space on the biggest map in the game, to do all the coolest stuff we chould do on the grid but with more work, probly causing sloppy and uneven maps. Other than that, it's awesome! 1/5 because it's not yours and really just pointless post again!.
hardcore forgers? wow... anyways, i agree with earlier posts, the floating object thing may be annoying, and i don't think that THAT much more space is needed, the sky bubble is already huge enough, and "hardcore forgers" would probably prefer the stacked version, it's got a higher item placement limit or whatever the hell it's called and they would have an extra 85 spacedollars.
I don't have sandbox but i'm almost positive even with all the objects placed on their largest side you wouldn't run out of room, which means there will be enough room for forging no matter what. Riddle me this however: Do you still die if you fall down the non-grid part? Can you slip objects underneath the grid from the outside? What interesting things does this allow you to do?
You don't die if you fall through the non-grid part As for your second question... I do not know. Someone should try it.
Wow... so much space xD i barely use a part of the map when i made a few. If i intend on building a huge map then i will dl!
There are plenty of modders out there, and i've already seen a map on youtube using the technique i'm about to suggest: Find someone who mods (dontmockme is the guy i saw) and get him to put extra grids in the extra space you've created. That way, it is twice as big and you still have a grid to place objects on!
Or just not use this at all, as i posted in the last on in this section, the onl has went down once again because of someone deleting all the objects on the map.
You'd never, ever be able to fill up normal skybubble, Idc if you have 1400 budget you'd still hit the error that says "Cannot create any more objects" if you've made too many objects. That problem happened to me and I still had 40 bucks left! But yeah...Thanks for tryin but the regular sky is humungous enough
Question: If you were to make a bunch of walls outside the skybubble and then a bunch in the bubble could one walk between them? In other words can YOU in a game/map walk through the bubble barrier because if you couldn't this would be horrible pointless...
