I am trying to think of some ideas of how to create an urban type map for a war or swat gametype...if anybody would like to help me or has an idea let me know GT:ferrari504
The training ground maptype is a good tactic SWAT map, but if you want more of a fast paced SWAT like in Halo 2, I would go for 3+ towers, 2+ levels, and lots of grav lifts. Hope I helped.
Beettaaa, I've noticed that in your first couple of posts, you've already helped out a lot of members here. That will not go unnoticed.
If you're gonna build a bunch of towers/buildings I think it would be cool to have as many window type areas as possible, to shoot across the map at unsupsecting and careless enemies.. -If any other ideas pop in my head tonight I'll be back.. **thumbs up!**
I am also going to agree that with an urban style map, alot of inetresting jumps and side alleys and passages would be nice aswell. Maybe a secret grav lift to the top of a building or something. I will also agree with deepmonkey and say that if you do build a bunch of towers and buildings, alot of windows and positions will be necessary. Just remember, try to make the buildings and such all different sizes to keep it interesting.
