I like the suggestion of developing a new Halo 'Sport' - to see if anyone can knock Grifball off its perch.
My only problem would be the millions of "Soccer' entries we'd see where there was no scoring system.
I agree it maybe more difficult then you think... but this contest could also be a strange game like... water polo...
The building I work in has some really interesting interior architecture. I have been meaning to remake this in forge because the more I think about it, the more I believe it would make an amazingly awesome multi-player arena. The only problem is, only I know what this building looks like, and any pictures taken won't truly reflect what it looks like in person. Real world locations would be a great contest, but I think those based on POPULAR locations would be weighted more heavily than an idea like mine. Perhaps a contest to remake a building's architecture? The most playable and accurate renditions would be considered for the top prize. --dc
If any of these contests were to ever be considered by the FH staff, they would most likely require the maps to be honor-rules free. Board games would have to be played within Forge (for the most part), and require honor rules. There is already a thread up discussing board games, please go here. --dc
Lol the only reason I requested halo 1/2 campaign remakes is cAuse I have one from the halo 2 campaign delta halo Its actually pretty cool but my vote still goes to the other video game one
I'm stuck between Sports And Movies, but chose Movies because I'm a film buff. And no saving private ryan please if this becomes the next one... :squirrel_nono:
This is a great idea. Obviously, honor-rules-free is a given. Too bad I already voted Movies (but I like that idea equally well). As someone already stated, I think real-life stuff was already done enough in the first contest. And for remakes... a remake contest would be interesting, but I think I'd rather see a contest promoting creativity (so we'll get some new, cool ideas).
Please no Jean Claude van Damme movie set remakes! But seriously, I can't think of a movie set that could be translated to a great multiplayer arena. Maybe my brain is just not working, but the pickings seem slim... To those supporting the movie card, examples please? --dc
Yay, it makes me happy to see people like my movie idea. It think if it becomes the next one it should be a requirement for a yotube vid of teh battle to be posted as well.
That makes approximately... 14 choices. Not enough creativity. We need just a broad word, then make something which we think of, and judge its creativity within the theme.
