Download Link:Halo 3 File Details This is a new trigger made by me, Goatnuts, and Coyote. It is pretty self explanatory, its just a push switch done better. When you push the pallet in it pushes a fusion coil into a man canon which blows it up, then a grav lift pushes it back into place so it can be used 10 seconds later when the fusion coil respawns. Pictures: Overview Pushing pallet in. Fusion coil going into the man canon. Fusion coil being blew up. Hope you guys like what me and Coyote did, look for more to come. so it is a switch i do not really get ho this would work can you be a bit more specific and maby instead display this in a new map instead of by its self and i dont get how this would activate anything maby make a door to show us its true uses
^^^^ His sig says it all. JK, but you did upload the same picture every time in the tutorial. It sounds like a good idea for a switch, but as it is so simple, I doubt you're the first to make a switch that uses that principle
It looks pretty good, but the pictures are all the same. Might want to fix those. But from what's there, it looks pretty simple. Good, but simple. Nice job. 7.5/10.
This doesn't seem like a map at all. All it is is a fusion coil blowing up and another one spawning. 2/5 Sorry
It's not supposed to be a map, just a switch. I don't really understand the switch seeing as all the pics are the same.
okay everyone who doesn't know what a switch is please shut up and dont comment on it not being a good map. it is not a map. Okay now to comment. I have seen the switch before where you slide the pallet, but it is good to see you put a new spin on it. and i like that it is resetable. that is definatly something that needs to be done to most switches, good work.
Ok, that is just sweet, that's the most switch looking switch I've ever seen, and the fact that the switch mechanism (pallet) doesn't need to be destroyed or respawn is just excellent. The pallet strongly reminds me of how a button works (push it and it activates the trigger and then resets). I especially like that all of these parts can be found on Sandbox as well, which will be important for switches from now on. Nice upgrade.
It could activate a lot of things, a door, weapon dispenser, elevator, and a lot more. I don't get how you see this as limited. My photobucket must have ****ed up or something but its fixed mow so it's all good. Pretty sure it is the first of its kind, unless you would like to show me that link, no one has made this before. Forgehub gets more nooby every time I come here, I should just stop coming people like this get annoying. And the first intelligent comment goes to...........Megathumbs! Thanks for the feedback.
I took a look at this earlier. It looks really cool. For all those questioning this: It odes exactly as it says. It is a switch. There are a lot of things that switches can do. This show a way that they can be activated. Great job, guys.
I'm happy that someone over @ H3A came to share with us New concept, love the resettable feature, it just seems like I'm not comprehending how it'd reset. If the pallet's pushed in, then won't the fusion coil popup ontop of the pallet? And if that gravlift in the corner is pushing the pallet, is it easy to physically push the pallet in, or is there a little bit of resistance? Also, I like your previous switches youy posted!
It is easy to push the pallet in there is virtually no resistance, the fusion coil doesn't spawn on top of the pallet because the pallet gets pushed back by the grav lift (that is its purpose).
i honestly dont see why this would be better then the switches already out there...... make a map with this in it and maybe then will we see its true potential
Rather basic switch, but it is new in the sense of having to push the pallet to knock the fusion coil over. Rather than a vehicle, power-up, or touch trigger. Nice adaptation even if it is uninspired.
could this be used to create a two way lift? Could it be used in conjunction to moonwaffle's concept of that lift? I would like to see all its uses.
