What's the max budget on Sandbox? Because it seems like it's around 500? But when I played matchmaking on Sandbox I played a variant called Tundra and I went into Forge and deleted everything and got 1500 budget?

I'm a little confused. Anyone help me out here lol?

The max budget of Sandbox is $1500 dollars, if you delete everything. However, the ones with $500 of remaining budget are OLN canvases. Due to a programming glitch, the items on the default Sandbox variant do not count towards the item limit (the thing that eventually stops you and says "Couldn't spawn anymore items"). Therefore, these items have been left on the map in order to keep the glitch active, thus taking up $1000 of budget.

What do we do to use utilize every item in the OLN?

Keep them on the map unless you don't need them.

Instead of deleting the objects you use them in your map once you hit the OLN. Its just like having a large reserve of objects to use once you cannont spawn anymore.

Just keeping them on the map is pointless.... If you aren't going to use them then delete them. Actually, using them is bad because they always have problems with interlocking and such.

What exactly are the problems with them going back to where they originated?

I still don't really understand the whole thing here... I mean it seems like no matter what you do you hit 300 objects or so maximum? I don't really understand where the extra pieces are coming from... I mean I know the "extra pieces" are supposed to be the ones already spawned but that's not really extra? It's more like a limitation since you only get what like 500$ or so to work with.

    I'm so lost lol

The budget has nothing to do with it. It's the OLN. You should use the default items and spawn points if you can. If you just delete the default stuff you will lower your total OLN by almost 50%. If you need more mony near the end then delete whatever default items you have left.

Not really a glitch, it works exactly how it was intended.

Maps have 640 "item spots," which anything placed on the map (including spawn points and objective items) count towards. All items fill one spot. Items shipped on a map fill one of those spots, even if deleted because they are part of the map, even when they aren't on it.

    Lets use visuals.

[ ] is an item spot, while [x] represents an item. Lets say that maps have ten spots, and the maps ship with 33% filled:
    [x] [x] [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]

If you add another object, you get:
    [x] [x] [x] [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
You can then delete it back to the original by removing the added object:
    [x] [x] [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]

But if you delete original objects, their places remain closed:
    [-] [-] [-] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
Adding an object goes to the next spot, even if it is the same type of object that was originally on the map:
    [-] [-] [-] [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]

So for this analogy, if you delete the original objects, you effectively reduce the objects you can place on the map:
    [-] [-] [-] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] (6 items)
    [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] (9 items, only 6 of them added though)

So by keeping items like weapons and spawn points, you free up space for things such as scenery which would normally be filled with re-placed spawn points.

But then again the default items suck at being interlocked.

in that tips and tricks for sandbox thread, it says:
    OLN Canvas NOTE:
YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE THE DEFAULT OBJECTS!!!!! Pulsekiller found out that if you keep all of the default spawn points (including respawn areas), goals, one of each weapon (and I don't even think you have to keep those) and delete everything else, you'll hit the budget limit before you hit the OLN. I promise, it works. The default objects are buggy and slightly bigger than the ones that spawn from Forge, so don't use them!!!

I really don't agree. I have tried this and I hit the OLN limit. The default items work fine, you just have to start a new round. And what do you mean that the spawned items are "bigger" How can they be bigger?

thats basically what i was thinking, it isnt hard to use a OLN canvas as well and i would rather be safe and knowing that i most likely wont hit OLN.

i have no idea, havnt tested this yet. possibly it could mean that some of the default scenery has a bit of an invisible barrier thing around them, but i dont know.

I am still rather confused. What will cause the original objects to reset their position?
