    This remake is amazing, every detail is spot on, although its bumpy it plays well. I only have one problem and that is that you said the map is unescapable. It can be broken by doing the fusion coil jump like on guardian or from standng on the wedge which the BR leans on and nade jumping onto the slanted part of the pipe. Hope this helps! 5/5!

    Wow! Finally a true Foundation remake!

    I love the aesthetics. Usually I just see plain old Double Boxes and Walls being used, but I can tell that you got creative. Good job!

    And from the looks of it, the proportions are done really well, and close to the original. Again, Good job!

    So, yeah. Awesome work with this map. I can't wait to try it out with friends. :)

    It is really easy to get out of the map...
    You just stand on the fusion coil and shoot as you jump.

    This is probably the best foundation remake so far I looks almost exactly like foundation with the four rooms in proper places and the central area is great
    Overall asthctically it looks great everything flows nicely together and has a nice looks
    It is built very well and shows that u got skillz (LOL)
    I am going to download for sure

    I am overwhelmed by the response this remake has gotten. Thank you for your comments, ratings, and downloads. After taking onboard your feedback I have made some minor alternations to the map. The most noticeable being the movement of the red and blue lights and the removal of the fusion coils that spawned next to the BRs.

    This version has also fixed a couple of issues with objective items in King of the Hill and also Territories.

    I am aware that there is an exploit which players can use to get out. I've left this in in the hope that only a minor (very very small) percentage of players will have first worked it out and second been able to do it in the heat of battle. I'll monitor it and will put a stop to it in a future update if necessary.

    Are you sure people can't get out? Even without the fusion coils? What if they jump on people's heads? People used to do that to get into the spawn areas on The Pit in Matchmaking... can't they just do that here?

    Oh, by the way, I did play the map, and yes, it felt exactly like Foundation with Equipment. The size of the map is spot on, and the map is extremely clean, which I appreciate. The only thing that bothered me was the floors. They are very bumpy. I know that would take a very long time to fix, but if you really want this map to be perfect, I think that (and the escaping the map thing), are the only things left to be fixed. Otherwise, this is a superb remake of Foundation. Nice job.

    The fusion coil jump is the one thing that lets it down! I got out of the map within the first 10 seconds of the game as soon as I saw that fusion coil.

    Other than that and the walkways being a bit bumpy, its a really cool map!

    This version is a ton better than my version. I love the aesthetics and It plays exactly the same. IMO one of the best remakes I have ever played on including actual Bungie Remakes. Good Job!

    I'm impressed, Octo.
    This looks real schnazzy, although I don't see much interlocking, that doesn't really matter for Sandbox right now.
    It seems pretty faithful to the original, mainly because I don't remember it too much.

    The map isn't fully 100% escape proof if players are going to start jumping on each other's heads but it's as escape proof as I can make it. The vast vast majority of players will just play the map as intended. With all the budget now spent there is almost nothing I can do about making the walls any higher.

    The floors can be a little bumpy in places, but I've found that when you're actually fighting people and not walking around by yourself you hardly notice it at all. That said, if enough people wanted it, I might go back and attempt to smooth is out a little more.

    There is some interlocking on the map, for example in all four corner rooms the walls are ever so slightly interlocked so there are no gaps. Basically it's interlocked where necessary. The pallet on Sandbox is so much more forge friendly then Foundry's, so I only wanted to interlock when I needed too.

    This looks like a very faithful remake of Foundation, even the color palette matches that of the original map. All of the geometry seems to be very accurate to the original map. It's about time someone started creating quality remakes for the masses. I hope you take a crack at Hang em High next, because while others have attempted it, none have so far succeeded like this.

    If I were to make a few suggestions, I would either merge the grav lifts under the floor of Sandbox (not sure if that's possible like in Foundry yet), or place a wall over the lifts to ensure the lift won't be destroyed. The geometry seems to be a tad different on the turret floors. It might be worth going back and recreating this area so it's wider like its predecessor.

    All in all it's a solid looking remake. I'll be getting a few games in soon.

    The Sword doesn't seem to spawn exactly in the middle. If you can get any budget out I'd put a weapon holder there, so it floats upward in the middle like the original Foundation. Anyways, it looks fantastic and it accurately represents Foundation. Great job. :)

    [edit] Ahh, see you have version 2 up now. No fusion coils though? :\

    The sword doesn't spawn exactly in the original either. Originally I had the sword dead centre on a weapon holder, but I moved it slightly off centre so I could spawn objective items in the middle instead.

    No fusion coils? Had to take the ones next to the BRs out because players could use them to escape the map.

    what u could do, with the fusion coils.. is double them up, then lock them down with a receiver node interlocked half-way into the wall

    What would this do? it will not stop the explosion from launching the players out and i have been able to escape this map by myself without fusion coils by standing on that cover and then grenade jumping.
    This remake is amazing other than the breakablity of it there must be some way to fix this.

    Or he could use teleporter nodes on the sides so the fusion coils cannot be pushed elsewhere. He could then put a roof directly above that location solving the break.
