X-Factor Created by Frigoc1 [br] Download X-Factor Here Supported Gametypes: 2-4 Player FFA [br] Map Description X-Factor is a new, innovative map that uses the interlocking technique to make it a very fun 2-4 player FFA Slayer map variant. You start off in "hole" that has a battle rifle in it. There are dumpsters at the end so that you can jump into the main part of the map. Once you jump up, depending on where you are, there is two plasma grenades, a covenant carbine, and a power drain. If you keep to the right, there is an opening that you can walk through. Once you drop into another "hole", there is a relatively empty room with two smgs at one end, and a battle rifle and two frags at the other. If you look to the right, there is a mancannon. If you go up this mancannon, it brings you to a room that is basically empty except for two plasma grenades and a shotgun. If you go back into the other room, and do not go up the mancannon again, go through the open space and it will bring you outside. There is barriers and a turret here that can be accessed through jumping onto a dumpster. If you take a hard right, there is a bubble sheild, a mauler, and a gravity lift. If you go up the gravity lift, you are taken to a small box , and a fence wall that you can use as a perch. Lastly, when you go onto the perch, look to your left, and on top of all the double boxes is an active camo. [br] _________________________________________________ [br] Weapons, Vehicles, and Power-ups on map: Weapons: 4 plasma grenades 2 frag grenades 2 spike grenades 3 battle rifles 1 plasma rifle 2 smgs 1 shotgun 1 turret 1 mauler Vehicles: None Power-ups: 1 bubble sheild 1 power drain 1 active camo Strategy: The strategy I use to win on this map is gain control of the elevator. Re: The X-Factor 1 vs. 1 I like 1v1s, so I'll check it out. But one of those Gameplay images is posted twice, and one is just a guy shooting. It doesn't illustrate the map at all, so I don't see the point of posting it. And as far as the pics go, nice interlocking, but I wouldn't mind smaller pics in the future.

Re: The X-Factor 1 vs. 1 Nice work, frigoc. It definitely looks like you're improving... this is a lot cleaner than your earlier maps. I'm not a big fan of 1 v 1's, but if somebody were to send me an invite to play it, I wouldn't say no.

Re: The X-Factor 1 vs. 1 the pics dont really give an idea of what the map looks like as a whole, its seems like something you need to play to understand, try getting better pics. Ps. I did read the great wall of text.
If you want smaller pics, just use the ones on bungie. Copy their URL (by going on the GRAY part (the part with the title of the screenshot) of the screenshot viewer and right click properties then select the url at the bottom. Then put that in the image. Itll be about half the size you currently have them here. And the map looks decent, but im noticing there is a severe lack of scenery or anything to catch the eye, really. I mean, nothing big. It could be a power up in the wall or a stack of pallets or a barrel or two. Ill DL and tell you what i think game-play wise.
k, i added some more scenery, made it so it's a 4-way FFA, changed the spawn times on the shotgun and active camo, took out the sniper, changed the spawn time of the covenant carbine, and fixed the elevator, and mancannon to the shotgun room.
I finally played, and no offense, I didnt like it. The lift to the sniper place didnt work, and you could get out of the map so easily, also there was I random room full of weapons and equiptment.
o ya, that's just because i never deleted the stuff used for the money glitch...and if you redownload it, i just fixed that elevator and mancannon like 2 min. ago.......EDIT: I took out all the stuff I used for the money glitch, so this is the only version for this map.
now, the only thing you can do outside the map is hide, whcich there isn't many places to, and go back into the map through the teleporter.........
But it doesnt matter. You dont even need to grenade jump to get out of the map. Even with the glitch stuff gone its a massive problem. The teleporter that brings you back in is useless considering all you have to do is crouch jump over it. Plus, the map itsself isnt even that great. It just doesnt work.
