The map does look good, but, if the respawns are in the middle of the map, then this would be a disaster. Sorry 4 the cynicsm, just want 32 make sure that people won't just hang around the outside of the arena before i download... if i do download. Convince me 2.
FFA:5/5 I downloaded the map and got a four person FFA going...it was epic. Its very well balanced for the FFA, there's enough spawn rotation that camping the chokepoitns quickly becomes obsolete. Now, for Team games: It was only one 3v3, so I kept that in mind. From the 3v3, one team spawned in, the other spawned out. It quickly become a bloodbath at the hallway in, but the insiders didn't see the teleporter, letting us flank them and force them out of the Arena. We then set up with a guy sitting on the teleporter, one in the sniper tower, and one with a sword on one side of the hallway. It again became a bloodbath. One of them spawned in the shotgun hall, which almost started another oust, when time ran out. Now, from what I gathered here, a team of four people can very easily lock down the entire arena. 1 in the sniper tower with a sniper. 1 in shotgun hallway with shotty and rockets aimed at the hallway. 1 on the teleporter. 1 at sniper spawn to grab the new sniper when tower sniper is running low on ammo. They can then pull a three second switch, and severly hinder spawning inside, and making it near impossible to spawn on the upper ring. To counter: Maybe add a Brute Shot to somewhere on the outside to prevent the sniper from scoping in so the outside sniper can take down the tower sniper.
Well, I guess I could add a brute shot to the out-side, but that means I'm probably going to take out the Spartan Laser. Also, thanks for the review. I'm glad to see you gave it a chance!
