    Hi,
[Tried the search stuff, couldnt find similair topic(s), also I though this would be the best place to post)
I've been wondering about Capture Cards recently. As I'd love some way to upload my video's (Xbox, Halo and stuff) towards my computer. As also part of my study will contain Video editing in the future, so I'd like to practise :p. Anyways, I'm like a dumbass if it's about Computer hardware. As far as I know you plug the card into your computer and next?
Anyways, I've got a few questions. I've tried the internet, but couldn't really find very good answers.
    - So, how does it exactly work?
    - How much will a decent one cost? I'm not wanting an AWESOME one that costs a lot, I'd like decent quality. I've no idea how much these things costs.
    - Do I need anything special except a Computer + Xbox + Tv? Or that's it?
Anyways, hope someone can help me out! :)
    Thanks!

Ok, I believe there is a good guide in the Videos forum, but I may be mistaken.

What happenes is the A/V cables from your Xbox are connected to this box, which then transfers the data to your computer through either a Capture Card, which connects straight to your Motherboard, or though a External Capture device (goes through USB). Then you can use that video, and blah blah blah.

Dazzle makes very good capture cards for a reasonable price of ~$100. Check them out here: Dazzle Video Creator Plus makes DVD burning and DVD recording simple and easy

If you want to be able to see what you're doing, I'd suggest getting a S-Video Xbox Cable, or getting Y cables so you can have a video on your Xbox and TV. It makes capturing what you want much easier, instead of looking at such a small 1-2 inch screen on your computer.

Watch DigitalPh33r's guide for alot more detailed information.
