SHADOW ASSAULT Hail Mary Episode 2 DOWNLOAD SHADOW-ASSAULT MAP DOWNLOAD SHADOW-ASSAULT GAMETYPE DOWNLOAD SHADOW-ASSAULT MAP DOWNLOAD SHADOW-ASSAULT GAMETYPE Shadow Assault is a splintercell-like one sided bomb map. The attackers drop into the second floor room of COLD STORAGE. They drop onto custom power ups that take your shields away but give you active camo for a minute and a half. The effect of shadowy night stalkers I got by combining two filters to create this creepy deep freeze. The active camo will make you totally invisible in the dark corners but if you cut across the light you see a dark ghostly figure. Defenders have regular shields so stealth and sneak attack are key for attackers. Get the bomb and just to the right is a shielded box with a teleporter that takes you to where you plant the bomb. This map would probably be good for Team Slayer, and Infection. If you try it as infection let me know about it. I have yet to try it. As usual this and all my maps are extensively beta tested. I placed only covenant weapons on this map. The tracers make it easier to track enemies in this gloomy environment. SPECS: The sword spawns with a radar jammer high above it is accessible by the mancannon in the center of the room. The room where you plant the bomb has only one exit. It’s here in the back corner through a teleporter. Also the spotlight in the big room is motion sensitive. It can help you find potential enemies. Wow well thought out! I would prefer it if the camo stayed up and your shields stayed down permanently but thats just my thought. Looks actually very fun to play on, and I havnt said that once yet on forgehub. Kinda like your a ninja almost, this willl definitly be downloaded first thing in the morning if I bring myself to it. Howver, I'm not entirely sure about this, but arent you really easy to see with half camo? Also, one thing I thought would be neat, was if in each room, there were like two rooms for those guards with the sentinals to be stuck in (like they couldnt get out) and have a windown lto shoot through.I dunno thhats probably just me but...
With poor camo on normally its easy to spot, but with the effects it makes it much harder to see someone with poor camo. The rooms that they could get stuck in would remove from a team slayer game i think. The map itself: Brilliant idea, and storyline. However couldn't a defending player just camp the teleporter? Like just stand by the sender with a CQB weapon and block the enemy? I'll dl and check it out properly.
I put power cores in the shielded room to try to prevent that, but attackers have sticky nades to help balance out. On the opposite side there are 5 random teleporters to enter that "Device" room 4 above in the lighting fixtures and one on the second floor up the gangway to the left.
