Raidin Raider---**** Zombie Map

    Hey man hows it goin? Anyways I thought we could use a thread on this map and discuss things about the future of it. Right now I have three VERY important issues to discuss. Anyone is welcome to contribute.

    1) Random Weapon Box
    So far the most challenging part is to create something that will give you a weapon randomly. Right now I only have one idea on it and well it isn't practicle... I will post it tomorrow.


    2) The Rest Of the Map
    Ok, we need to plan the rest of the inside and outside of the map before we really get started on this. I have drawn a schematic of what this custom map will be like. The reason I am not using the original map is because we are using foundry, and since it will be hard to get a 360
    coverage with zombies, I state that we have only one side being attacked overall, as will you see in the picture I will post tomorrow.


    3) Scenery
    If we are going to make a custom map, then we need to know what scenery to add. For the outside of the map, zombies do need cover so we will give them that, and put explosives for that extra edge to kill a zombie. the inside though will contain many obstacles for zombies to move around withought being spotted, so they can kill withought being killed.

    **NOTE**
    Raidin Raider and I are making a custom zombie map.


    Rough scetch of the map and another thing. We will probably add zombie barriers to the sides of this building though... Sry it is sloppy. but you get the general idea hopefully.

    I know, but we are making a custom map, not the original one. Unless you want me to bring the problems to your thread for me and him and I to solve there, we are starting a custom map and using this thread.

    i think rather than zombies only coming from the front, how about coming from the front and the sides? but not the back. that way, it is challenging, but it is also not too bad. you also should give the zombies plasma pistols, so they cant lunge from 10 feet away for an undeserved infection. they would have to actually work for a kill.

    for random weapon box, you have a million ways to do it. my idea is you have a pile of weapons, with things like magnums and smgs being the most common. you then walk up to it and hold rb, and a man cannon in the cieling shoots you forward into a teleporter, but you also hit a pallet. this pallet falls over and touches a dumpster with a man cannon inside it, which then registers and shoots forward, blocking the door until it respawns in a minute.

    scenery would just be non-respawning fusion coils, trucks, cranes, forklifts, and such.

    I would have titled this Customized **** Zombie Map. If you need a working random box, then wait until RivalMass and I finish our map and you can construct it off of that one. Give credit where credit is due though.

    We tried the plasma pistol, but they can break barriers from afar, those puny weapons add up you know. Have four people using a plasma pistol and see that the barrier breaks down. With the lunge thing, it is a 2 hit kill in **** zombies, so we might use that so several zombies have to kill a person and not one will kill you.

    Master Debaytor, we might have to use your idea and give you credit for it. But if we make our own, then well problem solved. It also gives you that good feeling when you make your own idea, you know what I'm saying?

    We do, from all sides and some unexpected ways in that give zombies an edge later on in the game.
    And for the plasma pistol thing, we don't want them to abuse the shots. :p
    OH BTW guardian, I've completely finished the fisrt room and the cieling, im half-way done with the other side then on to the 2nd story.

    also, i will be adding screen shots shortly.

    I have added some screens of the mainly completed areas.

    Not to be mean or anything but i think that this would be more appreciated if you used gaph paper and a ruler. Just to make everything look smoother

    I did not have graph paper at the time nor a ruler. I will keep your advice in mind though. This was a rough draft and I didn't take time to smooth it up much.
