Convoy Escape "Sandbox"

    Thanks for calling me an idiot when I am trying to give him some pointers..

    Come back here when you actually have the maps, then you can talk about this one. After all, your opinion doesn't matter here when you don't even own the Mythic Maps.

    sorry, i was in the moment...but ok maybe some filters shouldnt be on there, but i personally like the fact that you cant see too much..makes it eery

    I take it you used a map where the towers are blocked off?

    This is extremely lazy for a post. You've just built a tower in the centre and given the humans a guass warthog. It might be fun if it's balanced, but the post, and the map as far as I can tell, is just bad.

    Take some more pictures without the filters and show the spawns and stuff.

    i said and ill say it again i am not able to get more screenshots until the weekend! also the reason why it isn't so organized is because of the stupid forgehub server signed me out 3 times while righting the topic. so that as soon as i pressed post it send you must resign in!

    ooo that sucks...but maybe when you get back online on the weekend, here is a to-do list...
    >pics without filters
    >show more of the map
    >interloxorz more
    >maybe put the spawning useless vehicles(wraiths and scorpions) above kill balls in one spot like Draw The Line did on his map "Armegeddon"!
    >and get a cool pic of like 15 people all lined up side-by-side eachother in vehicles:)(with all thez filters on)

    FINALLY EpicFishFingers has told you what i told you your map lacks effort i am sorry for over doing it ok? but youve got to understand that this map does lack in gameplay alot after about 1 min with my friends we got bored an infection game should keep you entertained for a long time. i seems to me as if youve actually only got one supporter for your map lionsnate, who's opinion isnt valid because he cant actually try out the gameplay because he doent have the maps.
    if you do put in some light features to help you find the zombie it could make it more fun just like others said but i think you should also confine them to a more restricted area. or possibly a marker but then make the zombies a little slower so they have to catch the car at the right time

    Don't bother. He 'resigned' from Forge Hub.

    I was talking to him on MSN and he was complaining about teh corrupt Staff lol.

    Kids need to learn how to take criticism. It'll only make them better Forgers.

    He resigned (you know what? I wouldn't even consider it resigning, because it's not like he had a staff job anyway lol) because of this very thread. I guess he can't handle the heat!

    But you like the layout? It's just like the normal Sandbox with a little structure in the middle.

    i completely agree with berk here, the concept of the map is OK, but the map cant be rated as good because there is nothing there.

    the filter effects on ALL of the maps are completely useless.

    to combat the zombie "night vision" add MARKERS to the humans like last man standing, then the zombies will be able to see humans easier.

    the point of FH is to FORGE really, customs are a big part but this map has like 3 objects on it, sorry but im giving it 1/5

    im just saying that so i dont get infraction...

    the map is simple, yet entertaining...i couldnt help but wonder if the zombies ever die?//they seem too strong.. maybe chane that and add more maybe equipemmnt on the map...but good job.

    hi, i kindA agree with the whole empty thing, but the darkNess is what makes the game fun and interesting...

    now the map smear the pinkie is similar to this, and how that managed to get a very high ratinG unlike this is because of the amount of times it can be played without it getting boring... now on this one it is fun, but there are some things missing... maybe anOther point of the game.. like if random walls started to appear around the map, making blockades(slow down the humans)...i know that that isnt really another objective but to give the zombies more of a chance if that is why you thinkthat this isnt veRy good...>

    This map looks pretty cool, I'm going to make a whole bunch of dark zombie maps when I get my hands on Sandbox.

    smear the pink is nothing like this because it is in a much more confined area want you can actually see the person your sfter which makes that game one of the most fun games ive actually played on halo. it is very balenced on each side for smear the pink on this map it is more one sided please dont compare the two because smear the pink is 100 times better

    I'll have to try this tonight, but it sounds/looks very cool!

    Thoughts:
    - Zombies home in on the humans - Put markers on all the human heads
    - give zombies a flash of colour - either poor cammo or overshields
    - give humans respawning grenades (give the rider in shotgun something to do)
    - heavy grav for the zombies so they dont jump over walls

    - Make it a true convoy map - lots of worthogs (4 chain + 2 gauss = max 18 players!) maybe setup a path from one end of the main map to the other end - meandering/maze like with a couple of paths with enough room for the warthogs

    At the far end of the map a teleporter to the crypt (or make the map a spiral to the center drop spot) and then drop back to a fort setup in one corner (maybe two forts kitty corner - make sure everybody picks the right one!)

    Watching the zombies drop from the cealing with a slight glow seems cool to me ;)

    Maybe I'll have to turn a hand at forging this ;)

    agreed, but the simpleness is somewhat the same...this may have less stuff on it than smear the pinkie, but they both offer a lot of fun for the simplicity of the map...they are both genious ideas, but this one is kind of like a remake with a twist of the original convoy...and smear the pinkie has yet to get a remake.

    Ok I downloaded the map - but there were no filters on it and it wasnt dark....

    Now I'm curious how did it get made so dark in the first place?
