    Relic

    Description: This is a remake of Relic from Halo 2. I triedto keep everything as close as possible, but there are some slight variations due to map geometry getting in the way. Also added were a few pieces of equiipment because it's Halo 3... they add a lot of tactical flavour. Other weapons were added to promote dual-wielding. The Ghost was swapped for a Chopper, it suits the map better.

    It looks like area around the big base would need more cover. I understand that you probably used most objects in creating the base, and good job. From what I see, the tower looks amazing, and One-sided games would be so intense on this. Get more screenshots, I'm sure many people would enjoy seeing this map from different angles. I'll download once I get the Mythics. :p Good job.

    Actually rules are in the top bar of the site. And there is a stickied thread right by the new thread button that says "READ BEFORE POSTING!" So yeah, don't argue about something somebody tells you to do at a site that you just joined. They are probably correct.

    Add more pictures though. Not just one. I mean, what's the point of posting a map, if you don't actually show the map? It's like saying, hey I have this map. Download it without knowing what it looks like. People don't have space on their harddrives for that kind of stuff. And every other post is like this. It's really annoying to the members here, and especially annoying if you argue about it, because it means that you have never actually looked at any posts here. You just joined to post your map to get more downloads and annoy us all by posting it incorrectly instead of actually being interested in the site itself.

    Alright, I've added more screens and given into redundency. I think I'll make a map called redundency.

    In these shots you can see the large scale of the Relic, it's surrounding cover, and the attacker's side of the map. I tried to keep lines of sght true to the original, as well as functionality of the large hill and the cover it provides. The teleporter Hill had to look rocky, as well as provide the height advantage for defending the flag-stealer.

    feels like an inverted relic but Relic non the less. Great job. There are a few things you can probobly fix but still 5/5 also I love how you go the blown up tunnel to the teleporter room just like it was in Halo 2. Also nice job and the sniper tower aswell!

    the actual base looks really nice but the out side border looks very sloppy!It could use a couple of extra tweaks but overall 3/5.

    I feel that aesthetically, Its ok. If it is possible I would make the tower higher because it looks too short in the pictures. And also of course, this map is clearly a scaled size because relic was enormous. If only they had given us a bigger canvas. The skybox would be perfect for this but the lack of objects to build it would be a bit low. I like the attempt however. 3.6/5

    It's not easy remaking natural-flowing landscape out of blocks, especially on uneven sand.

    I know the teleporter hill may not look the best, but again, I wanted to try to keep the same lines of sight from those "rocks" to the high point on the relic. Also, the functionality was top priority, not looks for that half of the map.

    ok like all the others said, the base looks ok but the whole map is sloppy as hell dude.

    this needs ALOT of work, im not being an asshole but it looks like youve just thrown objects down.

    think tactical cover, merged and acessable.

    i agree with spazmonkey 92 you really need to fix this map up alot, you shud definaly consider fixing it because if you interlock and clean it up ALOT! you could have a rather good looking remake of relic but right now it just looks like a bunch of objects thrown down

    The only thing I see needing to be fixed here is the downed pelican place. Other than that I enjoy it alot. Though the exit of the teleporter on the outside area is WAY too big. Make that smaller and use the objects you have left for improvements.

    Why didnt you remake this in the sky box so you could replicates the ocean deat barrier ? this is way to small and its scale is wrong and its missing key parts of relic. I reccomend going on halo 2 and checking Relic out more and then retrying this in the sky box.

    Ocean death barrier? Isn't this similar to... the tower shooting your ass if you go out of boundaries? And beyond that, I can see some decent use of interlocking throughout, obviously, geomerging would have been useful, but there's no harm done if you don't want to put the considerable amount of effort into geomerging on sandbox.
