Honor gaurd armor would be like putting a neon sign over your head that says "I'm here come kill me" It would look sweet, bu I think the elites stand out enough. As far as recon goes, it's alright, but I'm content with what I got.
I would definitely pick Recon. I never use elites, and Ty is right, you would stick out like a sore thumb (lol). Although, I probably would only use the body and shoulders, maybe the head.
I'd much rather have the Honor Guard armor perm. I don't care if I stand out, as long as the hit box isn't extended, I don't care. I'd probably end up using all Honor Guard for a while then use the shoulders and Combat head and body. Personally, I don't like how Recon looks. I prefer the Rogue helmet, EOD body and Hayabusa shoulders. I play as an Elite so it doesn't really matter. That's what I'd go with as a Spartan and what it is set too if I ever play as a Spartan.
The Honour Guard Armour would be nice but yes, it sticks out like a sore thumb. I don't really like the Recon helmet either, it looks too sharp. I'm content right here and right now.
I Forgot to say my choice..I would definitly choose Honor Guard over Recon, just because first of all, it looks amazing, and second of all, everybody would be choosing Recon, and lastly, who cares if you stick out? its not like someone with Gold Primary colour Armor on Snowbound doesn't stick out? And, I mean, you would be able to change the colours of the armor too. So although, many of us have our own different opinions, I would definitly pick the Honor Guard armor.
Recon doesn't stick out enough, and Honor Guard sticks out waay too much (besides the fact that it's elite only, ha. ha.), so I'd say I'm pretty much content with regular armor permutations as of now.
Well, I'm not sure what Honor Guard armor is. I know it is Elite armor based on previous posts, but can anyone explain what it looks like, or even better, a pic. I may have seen it before, but I may have forgotten what it is.
Oh yea, I forgot about the Elites wearing that in H2. Their helmets are huge, probably wouldn't want that, especially in sniper games. I would probably want the recon over that, even though idiots hax others for it. I like my armor the way it is right now, until i get the Security Helmet.

See that is why a longer sentence for a reply can help.... back to topic... Honor guard would be very nice to wear..but once I found out that I get shot but having a hat the size of TEAXS... I would then decide to have a full MARk 5 again...
A longer sentence... Is not worth... The ellipses... The hit box would ideally stay the same size. Otherwise no one would use EOD.
