Hi, I'm just wondering, but is there anyway to geomerge in sandbox(not that I probably will becase I love working in the skybubble). There are no doors to flip upside down, but I'm just wondering if there are other ways?

there are indeed other ways to merge objects. For example if you were to race one object down and interlock the top of it with a larger object it would work the same way as a door. What I am talking about is the save and quit technique of the advanced merging guide!

Hm, didn't know about that, thanks. Probably WON'T be geomerging in sandbox anyways but thanks for the help.

There is another way which should work well on sandbox too. I haven't been able to find the guide recently but basically I believe you go anywhere on the map and twist your object until it's the angle you want to be merged. Then you save I believe, but don't quit. Then without adjusting the angle with the right stick, put the spawn point on the ground where you want to merge, save and quit. Then load up your game and it will be merged at the angle you had picked before. Confusing, but it works and is good sometimes.

Hey how about using the search thread function? Perhaps that will give you the answers you are looking for.

Your talking about the tear drop method. Sir Toppum taught me that. Just to paraphrase, essentially you place an object down. Then save. Following this you move that object. Perhaps you want to merge it into a wall. So you angle to object, without changing its position with the right stick, the way you want it. Basically since you didn't move the object with the right stick it still registered it as straight so when you come back it will be how you wanted it.

You can also overload the map on Sandbox and the grids will disappear, allowing you to very easily merge into the Skybubble Floor, by Save-Quitting.
This may be your best bet in the Sky Bubble, however it may not be totally necessary.

I remember trying to overload the map to get the skull, but I was in the skybubble at the time, so it didn't stop the towers from killing me when I went to get the skull. The blue lines dissapered, and I'm like WTF?Guess I know why now lol. =P
