Basically the humans and infected each start in separate boxes in the middle section of sandbox. Both sides get 30 seconds until a Kill ball appears in the spawn area's. This will kill the infected and spawn them in the crypt. The humans, on the other hand, have 30 seconds to gather weapons and jump down the shaft. When 30 seconds pass, any humans still at the starting area will be killed and spawn in the Crypt with the infected with default weapons (BR and Magnum). The Humans now have to survive in the Crypt with the Zombies, which as stated earlier, is pitch black. Screen shots are listed Below... i like the way you use the killballs to start the game, clever. i think you need better pictures. may lighten them up a bit. and maybe a few more shots inside the base but from what i can tell, the weapons need to be arranged a bit better in my opinion i dunno what the inside of the bases look like so i can't offer my comments there. other than that, cool map and nice use of effects
Haha wow this is really cool, i wasn't sure if they included the lighting effects with the MMp for some reason.. Guess they did And you made good use of it.. Finally a FORGING map with the pitch black zombie gametype, i was getting sick of zombies on Ghost Town if you wanted it to be dark Good job, 4/5
This map seems pretty nice. I'd like to see a picture of what the crypt has going on inside other than the small human base. Is there much of anything else? I've actually been working on something like this for a little bit but didn't think of using the killballs the way that you did. Very interesting. I'll definately DL.
I love the idea, sounds amazingly fun to play. Id suggest cleaning up the weapon room a tad and getting more screenshots fof the map itself.
Well, its not amazing. Not much done at all. As you may know the crypt is the size of the foundry grifball court. Which is very small. There is not much you can do with the crypt so its good. People usually dont take the risk of using the crypt. You really didnt put much on at all. The killballs are smart though. Overall I like the idea and the effect so 3/5 A v2 would be nice just use more objects to your advantage.
i really really like this idea. now what would be funny, give humans smg's and magnums. and make it were they cant pick up weapons off the ground haha. xD! "Omgz a lazer!!! wtf i cant pick it up?!?!"
the thing about extra objects is i tryed it... and the humans were WAY to hard to kill... PLus it got rid of the feeling you were in the dark... i wanted the map to be PITCH BLACK... and like you didn't wanna venture out... so adding items around the map made it feel weird... plus it makes you wanna stay at the base because its your ONLY cover in the whole map...
i really lke the idea of this, but as i'm sure a previous post meationed, you may want to straigten up the weapons and maybe add a tad bit of variety. you also may want to put sometin like a temporary source of light that doesn't do any harm ex. bubble shield flare, g lift, shield deploy, regen. but it is pretty cool, the kill ball idea really is just ingeanious. 4/5 man great map
