Yep. It's zander. Well, it's been a while since I posted a map. This is my first one of 2009. I've had a couple projects going for the past few months, and this is the first one I've finished. It's called Burial Grounds, inspired from Burial Mounds from H2. Trust me, this is no remake, and many of you will not even see a resemblance. It works for all gametypes. Description- This map is really set up for CTF. There are so many jumps and pathways to the flag, it'd be impossible to count them all. My favorite one is the bridge. Between the attackers and defenders bases there is a bridge that is exactly the same distance from both sides. It requires a jump, but is the fastest path. At the beginning of the round everyone rushes to it, and most people fall while fighting. Very fun. There's also a sniper there for anyone who survives. I don't have a weapons list. Sorry. However there are ALOT of Brs so it is great for those who like long range battles. haha you're right, no resemblance although this map looks great on its own. good job including lots of BR's. its gonna need 'em. I like the randomly geomerged objects. even though they look like they were just randomly merged throughout the map, i'm sure you took time planning them all out. I suggest you add some ramps ehre and there. looks like too much jumping for some people. Well made, great map
what ho?? a non-sandbox map, you don't say? nice map, i really like the layout, looks like you could get some intense long rang BR fights. i also like the little alcove in the in the wall corner in the last pic. but the open box in the last pic, just there at a weird angle, looks like it might subtract from gameplay. overall good map
The boxes are meant to look like they are sinking into the ground. That box is merged there for cover when the back path is used when capturing the flag. It is very commonly used.
