basically you hold the object where you want it to be, floating or otherwise and then click save and end the game. when you start it back up it will be exactly where you had it when you saved.

These show several tips on geomerging on flat areas. But what if you wanted to geomerge in the back of foundry. How do people do those crazy ones in the back rooms and tunnels?

Get a laggy game (2-3 people in there) and find someone who isn't host (to check, look down as the monitor and press up, if when you turn into the MC you are still looking down, then your host).

Place it on the floor, then double tap A on the bottom while being very close to it. The bottom half should fall through the floor. Now you can move it around freely, half sunk into the floor (or wall).

    I NEED HELP!
I tried to merge a wall corner into the ground using single boxes to stabilize it and it went crazy on me. Should I use teleporters or what?

anything, it helps if it is about the shape and size of the object you are trying to geomerge.. you have to do it the oldschool way though because there are no doors, so you have to make the object, brace it, and make it not spawn at start, start a new round, and put an abject at the height you want the other object to be, then force spawn the other object, and grab it. It should then get laggy and try to un interlock the two objects, and in turn, push the object you are holding into the ground, then save and quit to secure the object. Remember, the smaller of increments you do, the less chance of your object flipping out and ruining the merge. think small. I think that sums it up for yah, any further questions you can PM me. Matty might you possibly add something like this to the original post since sandbox has no doors. Happy forging!

Please don't take this as spam it is just a question: Is there any known way to geo-merge on Sandbox, or did Bungie eliminate it now.

It's called reading all the posts

Look up. It's that simple. Please read all of the posts before asking questions that may have already been answered.
