Sandbox SH Conquest

    hey guys early i made based off stonehenge and i was told i should add more paths/ make it into a conquest map so i have :D
    There are 2 base (Red and Blue) each base has a banshee landing sone. there are also 2 coloms at each base one one with a beam rifle, and the other with a fuel rod cannon. Each base has 12 spawn points.
    In the center of the map is "stonehenge".
    EQUIPMENT LIST:
    2 Snipers (one at each base)
    2 BR (1 at each base)
    4 spikers (1 pair at each base)
    Before playing this map make sure you download the Conquest Gametype

    Well it's not quite a conquest map, sir. A conquest map follows a single path only. This one appears to have two side paths. You could turn this into a good conquest map by adding walls and turns along your main walkway. Just thought i'd letcha know. It looks like a good map for the other game types you have listed though. If you can turn this into a real conquest map, I'll give it a download

    You should add a close up on the central structure as well

    "Meandering: the path should not be a straight line, there should be two or more symmetric turns."

    Straight from teh book of conquest :D

    I think you misinterpreted that. When it says "turns," its referring to turns in your main path. See how your main path is a strait line from base to base? If you added a turn between each base and the central structure, that would be perfect. But i think you would also need to add walls to that main path as well. You should look at a few maps in the Book of Conquest for examples

    lols time to edit the map..... again ts not important to have turns in the main path tho is it?

    It looks a bit to open but that is just my opinion. But all in it looks like a nice map.
    Ps maybe make the walkway a little larger.

    Just edit your post after you edit the map again, and take new pictures as well. No reason to keep reposting the same map over and over when you can just edit your post. Unless you completely change the map, you won't need to start a new thread.

    Alright much better! Thats a big improvement! (That was quick too). Looks like those wall corners will obscure the lines of sight nicely. And you have territories at each turn i assume? This is more conquest-like than the last version, very nice. Looks great too. I'm not sure if you added any new weapons when you edited the map, but I would suggest adding a few duals along the walkways (sorry if i'm too picky lol). Other than that, looks like it'll work!

    Big improvement from the other version. I'm glad you listened to the given suggestions. As mentioned by Gamergrunt, those wall corners will block off the sightlines and allow a safer territory capture. The center looks like it will be a good territory, as it will be the main point of the map with both teams meeting at the center. Well done on the first conquest map on sandbox.
