Assembly v2 MLG made by me RedHaZard this is my 1st map posted on forgehub this is like a upgraded assembly wtf assemblys all ready new... for Swat And MLG gametypes it has 8 BRs 4 Carbines 4 frag nads 8 plasma nads weapons added 2 Carbines 1 on each side 4 Brs same spot on both sides things deleted rocket duel weapons gravity hammer the pics with the guy holding the hammer where done in the non MLG verson so dont worry there not in the mlg 1 iv got a non mlg swat verson 2 just with the object added pic of other objects added sheld doors on buttom walkway lift blockers added to middle for hidding umm that was kinda a woopsey added barriers to both sides and those pole things download links Halo 3 File Details non MLG verson with normal weap spawns Halo 3 File Details it was my hopes for bungie to put this in matchmaking some day. sorry for bad grammer
You can't have bubble shields, power drainers or regenerators on an MLG map, YOU FAIL. Get rid of them and this will be suitable for MLG. EDIT: In half of the pics a guy has a grav hammer too, they also can't be used in MLG.

No it's ok just delete them and update the download link, edit your original thread as well so people don't mention it after you've fixed it.
MLG maps can only contain Camo, Overshield, Custom Powerup (2x Overshield), BRs, Carbines, Snipers, Plasma nades, Frag nades, Plasma pistol, Mauler, and Rocket launcher. Also, it is nice to see that you are trying to make a good MLG version, but sadly, unless you build a completely new map, Killa KC (the person who chooses/makes gametype for MLG) will be the one editing the default maps.
This map should have no fusion coils or equipment because Mlg players use them to a pretty big advantage. The map overall needs a few tweeks but might pass for an mlg map.
Yeah i forgot that u could use Mauler in mlg so i was gunna add 1 or 2 of them n mabey a snipe but i think the maps to small fusion coils the 3 i added dont reely do anything unless u pusht them off
to be honest i think you just tried to post a Mythic map as soon as you could to show off. It doesnt look like you put much effort into it and its not even MLG. you put explosives and shield doors wich arnt allowed in MLG maps so please dont try to show off and put more effort into your maps
...no im not trying to show off at all i know the map isnt that good i just wonned to see how u post maps on here so i posted this 1 i just made.. sad face and yes i proly shouldent have posted it in the mlg topic.. as i said i havent played mlg much mabey i should have i didnt know there was a rule against shield doors i think thats stubid
if u wanna make an MLG map you should try sandbox just because KC already has Assembly taken care of. Like said before there are things on the map that are not up to MLG standards. Also the reason MLG frowns upon shields doors is that they slow down gameplay and MLG tries to keep their games as fast paced as possible while still remaining very competitive
This isn't quite an advancement. Adding a thing to hide, is opposite of what MLG aims to be. It is meant to be spawn and get into the fight to back up your team mates. Also, I think MLG has never used explosives, because they're a variable and shield doors because people can camp behind them. Not MLG, but a decent map none the less.
the map is just a supped up version of assembly. i think that its very basic with the design. putting barriers on the outside of the walk ways and fusion batteries on the top of the capsules. i like the map but i dont think many other people will.
The MLG variant of Guardian (MLG Guardian v6) does not have any explosives besides Blue Coils. Blue Coils are default in the map and can not be deleted, therefore, Blue Coils must remain. They also provide a useful call-out. I would recommend removing the explosives on this Assembly variant although because the locations of each explosive is a tactical jump used to get from bottom floor to Top Mid. Placing explosives on each of these removes the use of the jump and cuts off the ability to attack Top Mid. This brings me to the hiding spots in Top Mid. MLG is a supposed to be a fast-paced, team game in which you are always moving or in a set-up to suppress the enemies movement throughout the map. Hiding spots are not recommended for this style of play because it slows down the game. *This is the reason why equipment (bubble shields, regenerators, and power drainers) is not included in MLG maps. These hinder players from moving the map in a smooth motion and don't make interesting gameplay for MLG players. Next, are the shield doors located at "Bottom Walkway". As mentioned in the above section, shields cause players to "camp" and slow gameplay dramatically. With the increase of teams and call-outs, a team would never leave their base because it is the eaiest location on the map to defend. There may be too much cover on each of the top walkways, but that would be something you need to test with MLG players to figure out. Generally, MLG maps have a smaller amount of cover to make player positioning a key factor in victory.
The explosives you added in picture three is usually frowned upon by MLG. Also, the Covenant radio antennae in the last pick just looks like its in the way. I think you added a bit too many barriers; its supposed to be challenging to take control of topmid, hence the slight lack of cover. Good carbine placement however.
Take out the things that have been already stated and it could be decent for MLG. I'm pretty sure KC fixes the maps up anyway, other than Foundry and Sandbox variants of course.
