    Mad Haus
    Made by Bixed

    Supported Gametypes:
    Slayer
    Oddball
    Crazy King

    Weapon List:
    2x Spiker
    1x Brute Shot
    1x Battle Rifle
    1x Needler
    1x Gravity Hammer
    2x Plasma Grenade
    2x Spike Grenade
    1x Bubble Shield
    1x Regenerator
    1x Deployable Shield

I'd like to think of this as my first map here, because my actual first map here on FH was an abomination. Anyways, enjoy.

One of my first maps ever on foundry was called "Mad House." It had three floors, but that all there is to say about it. It was sloppy and the gameplay wasn't smooth. After a long hiatus from Halo 3, I decided to give forging another shot. I built a three-floor map from the ground up, but this time I had interlocking under my belt.

Mad Haus is a small, fast-paced map with three floors. This map is intended strictly for free-for-all gamtypes. Works best with parties of 4-8. I've never tested this map with more than 8 people, so if anybody is crazy enough to try 16 players, tell me what happens. It'll probably be ugly.

I tried making the multiple floors the highlight of this map by making floor-to-floor maneuvers and transitions as smooth as possible. Let me know what you think.

    To avoid any confusion:
This map is completely enclosed; not a house. I just liked the name

This map looks really interesting. I really never see houses built for slayer and other gametypes. The only thing that might be a problem would be that on the top floor there is only one way in and there is a hammer there, so the person might just camp and destroy people with the hammer. other than that one thing, it looks great. One more thing is that there are hardly any brs or carbines, which might make people mad. Along with the weapons there are too many power weapons, maybe switch a few for carbines or brs...overall the map is a 5/5 and im guessing-just GUESSING the gameplay is going to be about a 4/5...but ill get back to you

This is a very unique map. I have never seen a free for all map that was taken place in a house. It usually was infection but the house itself is a lot different from others. I think the playablity would be great unless there were radars. The reason I don't want radars is that you know where everybody is and it probably would be a lot more fun if you took off radars. If you did then ignore that part. But I think that this could really work out because you have taken care of the mobility problem. You can go from the ground floor to the main room very easily. Good job on your flow of the map. Keep forging, I can't wait to see your next map. I give it a 5/5. I hoped this helped.

I am trying to DL the map but I don't have room.

the map is very nice. i like that the idea is simple and you took it and made it a very competitive map. all three levels are unique an very nicely forged. i think the top level could be grenade jumped out of but other than that good map.

There's a ceiling there. Sorry if I wasn't clear about that. I changed the subtitles for the pics.

Hmmm... playing without radars would be pretty fun. I never thought about that. I also liked the idea of radar confusion due to the multiple floors.

Looks cool. I like the feel and the gameplay. Oddball is fun because of the hiding spots. I really like it nice use of interlocking. Maybe can be a little longer. 4/5

I might make a v2 in the near future. Ill try to make the ground and top floors larger. How was the gameplay in terms of floor transitions?
