    This map started out as just an idea, as all the others that come out on this site, as an idea. That idea popped into my head about 3 months ago, and we have been working to make it a reality ever since. Now, when I finally get to the pictures, and I eventually will, most of you will probably say that all it is, was my Geomerging/Interlocking map, where I test out how good I am at doing those said things, but its not, its more than that, and hopefully you will understand when I get through with the post.

    First off, as all maps have, well most anyway, mine has a story to go along with it. Enjoy.

    “Jump up there, Sam!” The boy ran into a hole of the once occupied Covenant Military Housing facility’s outer wall and poised for his energetic father’s camera. “This was once a place where many heroes died protecting us from evil aliens. Don’t forget what you owe, son.” The boy nodded in solemn understanding and carefully hopped down from the antique rubble. When he reached the bottom, he turned around, and with his father’s approval, kicked the stones that once supported the Covenant Occupation in this once remote section of Mombasa. Now, the base was a modern theme-park attraction for all humans seeking glory in their military prowess, or more accurately, luck. The boy looked up with a smile, but his father’s eyes were staring coldly into the hole from whence he had just come. He slowly looked behind him into the now gaping maw of darkness, but saw nothing. He turned to his father, whose eyes suddenly disengaged and became warmer. But there was something else in his eyes. Something the boy would be incapable of describing for the rest of his life. Something that is perhaps best described as insatiable fear. The father tightened his grip on the boy’s hand and spun around sharply, leading the too against the shuffle of the crowd and towards the exit: “Sam, we have to go. Now.” The child put up no argument for he had never seen his father like this before. As they neared the exit, or perhaps the entrance, the boy noticed that his father suddenly became looser and relaxed. “Let’s go home, kiddo.” Had he turned around at this moment, there is a chance that he would have seen a small sparkle of light from the setting sun reflecting off a tiny piece of glass far above him in the window of an abandoned housing facility, perhaps that of a pair of binoculars. And had he been looking closer, he may have, just maybe, seen the twisted and disfigured silhouette of a shadowy, hunched figure. But as it turned out, he did not turn around. And as he led his son through the gate and back to his car to “safety”, a very toothy grin spread across the distorted face of a long forgotten, but not lost, covenant survivor.

    So if you read the story, and if you didn't, I will go ahead and tell you. This map is covenant themed, thats right, you heard me, covenant themed. Not deviating from the norm enough now am I, well.. I guess I am not really deviating at all, sadfaic. Now onto the more, factual information, the weapon list, gametypes, yadayada.

    Now, you may be thinking, thats such a small amount of weapons, however with grenades, and the "smallness" of the map, you will believe otherwise, but not to the point of too many weapons.​

    This map as some of you, have noticed has been in production for a long, long time. I want people to DL this map for the gameplay, not the aesthetics, and actually get a good 1 or 2 games on here before rating it. Hopefully, you understand now, at the end of the post, the work that was put into this map to make it a reality, and after a few games, I would like for you guys to come back and tell me about the experience, good or bad. Thanks go out to all the testers, and to solo92 for support, desert fox for the story, trilogy for being sub a great forging partner, and jeten, for keeping me amused with your general "idiotness"

    This map looks very promising and I am eager to play on it but where is the download link? Call me clueless but I didn't see one.

    EDIT: Yeah in the initial post there was no download link, I looked over the whole post.

    First off-DOWNLOAD!

    it looked a little iffy at first, but then after i saw all the pictures i was hooked. I hope to write a more detailed review on gameplay soon tomorrow. The merging is perfect and it looks fun to me. GREAT JOB *****

    I like your attitude Youtuber, I do not believe a map should be based on pure aesthetics unless that is exactly what it was designed for.Onto the map. It looks to be very solid for a match of 2v2. I like the story and I like the shortage of weapons, it makes controlling the key ones in the map that much more exciting. Great interlocking and merging. Great looking map overall. I will try to download this later, but as it is I'm very tired, and as such will favorite this page and come back later. Good Map. Good Post. Keep Forging.

    Edit: Yes I don't believe I saw a download link, when you get one up I will come back, lol

    The map looks fine from the pictures, but I'd like to get more of a feel for it in game... I'll take a look at it and rate it if I can get some people to play with.

    Youtuber, great job and great post too!

    First off, your geomerging is simply amazing! seriously, its really good. It looks like it would make for a great CQB map and the layout and design looks good as well. one aspect of the map that i like the most, is the stairs geomerged really far down, im not sure if its been done before, but it looks awesome and very original. Your weapon placemnet seems....okay, IMO it looks like your map is bigger than what you have placed with your weapons. you should baybe add a bit more variety maybe 3 more normal weapons(SMGs/magnums maybe?) and possibly something like a needler or mauler, or maybe even a sentinal beam. but either way its good enough to play on im guessing. as for spawns, ill check back to you on that and same with the gameplay. Alos it looks a tiny bit sloppy, just a tad. but anyways, nice job, i kow i give out short reviews but i hope it helped. Originality-8/10 Forging Skittlez-9.5/10 Layout/Design-8/10 Weapons/Spawns-Pending Gameplay-Pending.

    I was rather disappointed when I played this map.

    Starting out with size expectation. For some reason this map just seemed bigger in my head. When I got on it, at the beginning in which I spawned directly behind someone, I realized how small it was.

    Aesthetic wise, well there was some good merging and interlocking but many of the structures felt random, and didn't flow well together. The stairs merged into the ground were there for no more reason than to say "I can merge". I liked some of your bridge walkways but they could overlook too much of the map, the way things were setup you could dominate from one spot. The map just felt very tight and cluttered.

    Gameplay wise I had problems with spawning and weapon placement even in a 3 person FFA. I would start behind someone, spawn into a firefight and more. And I was so immediately thrown into battle I rarely was able to use anything but the Assault Rifle I started with. I can't even imagine the problems one would encounter in a 3v3 match, one under the gametypes you listed.

    I think the reason this map doesn't play well is mainly because of its size and the lines of sight in such a small arena. Honestly no other than a 1v1 functions on this map so that players would have time to maneuver and pick up an extra weapon. Perhaps for a next project try to go bigger, because I just didn't enjoy this. Although I could see this map making improvements with better spawns, a more obvious placement of weapons so you can pick up and go, and perhaps some changed geometry and cover to split up the map more.

    Well, gameplay wise, did you even read the gametypes I put up there. I have already figured out the spawns in FFA are bad, and thats why I didn't sugget it, Or even make it for that fact. The stairs were put in after, just as a touch, and the map was supposed to have that cluttered feel to it, but I guess there could have been a bit more cover on the ground. Regardless, I appreciate the review

    I'm sorry to report that my review applied to all of your gametypes listed. I even went back and played KotH. Although I strongly believe you could take strives to improve the quality of this map greatly with a V2. Such as updated spawns, weapon availability and slight geometry changes to break the map up into smaller sections.
