Well this is what mrsmiley and I have been working on for a few days. It turned out great and all Halo 1 fans should absolutely love it. All Game-types work perfect except Neutral Flag, Neutral Bomb, and 3 Ball. BTW…Rockets on this map will blow your socks off. Weapon List: (exactly the same as H1) 1 Plasma Rifle 1 Assault Rifle 2 Battle Rifles 2 Shotguns 2 Pistols 4 Plasma Grenades 4 Frag Grenades 2 Bubble Shields 1 Overshield 1 Active Camo DOWNLOAD (Slot 3)
Sorry Pyroman, but the posts that this thread has so far received have been deleted due to spam. Unfortunately, not everyone has had the opportunity to download the Mythic Maps yet, and therefore are unable to comment properly on your map. The sole purpose of commenting in a map thread is to tell the creator how to improve their map, and what you like about it after you have DL'd/played it. If you don't have the Sandbox yet, then this is obviously impossible, and therefore any "suggestions" purely reside in speculation. If you do have the maps however, then feel free to comment. If not, then please remain out of this thread until you do, or infractions will be given for spam.
beautiful looking, although I can't be sure until I get the map pack. The screenshots show that this will definitely be a DL. Keep up the good work. PS: it seems as if every sandbox map posted look very good. is it easier to forge sandbox?
Nah man Forge is still pretty difficult and time-consuming. But thanks to the even ground (in the skybox) it should be pretty damn helpful.
It looks as though the map is highly breakable, as a grenade jump would easily top some of the walls. Other than that, it looks very professional with a good attention to detail.

The Mythic map pack will be out on the 3rd, 4 more days Some people got a early, just read it in halopedia for more info.
Is there enough budget to seal off the top? I'll download this, playtest tonight with a few buddies and update this post with thoughts. Looks like a faithful remake though!
The boundries are clearly marked so anyone breaking out is not playing right so just warn them and if they continue, boot them. On to the map, very true to the original mate. Well done, will certainly download this and give it a go when my hand starts working again. Are the weapon spawns the same as the Halo 1 version? Or Halo 2? Or your own blend of availability and mayhem?
Kapura, I feel you have underestimated the size of these elements of scenery, the walls along the side are equivilant to the height of a double box turned over on end.
The weapon spawns are completely the same as the H1 version. Except where there were 4 Frag grenades, there are only 2. Same goes for Plasmas.
Sweet. If I hook up with some of the others that have the maps tomorrow I'll try and get a game on it and let you know what we think.
This a perfect map to test out the mythic map pack on. I just got them yesterday. I only had one more person with me to play it but it was still fun. It has been a while since I played Halo CE, I've got to admit I do not remember this map. None the less I am sure other people do, either way great map.
The map pack does not come out on the 3rd... Why would Bungie give people the treat of having the map pack with the Collector's Edition of Halo Wars when they where just going to release the map pack on the same day of Halo Wars' Release? See how stupid that sounds? They won't be releasing the map pack until later this Spring... As stated in many of the preview videos done by producers such as "Rooster Teeth" and more. If in fact they release the map pack on the same day as Halo Wars, I'm sure someone would file charges against them for making them buy Halo Wars when all they wanted was the map pack. It seems kind of silly, but it's true, some people do have the nerve [Not me... I'm waiting for the map pack to become publicly released].
I havent tried yet since i dont have sandbox,but i recognize the map from the pictures, that means alot... im gonna put this on DL que or bookmark this page and if I dont forget ill get back to this topic ^_^
Haha alrighty cool. That's why I wanted to put it up early, so people can have it ready to play right when they get the maps...
