    The battle has come to a standstill at a river and both sides refuse to back down. 2-6 players

    Battlefront is a small asymmetrical map which is made up of a top half that encourages long range combat and features hills, trenches, a river, and a waterfall. The other half is a subterranean maze of corridors and small rooms that encourage close quarters combat. There are several ways to move between the two halves including two staircases at either end of the map or by going into or coming out of the river that bisects the map.

    This map is playable with all gametypes but due to its small size I recommend free for all games with no more than 6 people or small team games with no more than 2 or 3 people per team. My suggested gametypes for this map are FFA Slayer, Juggernaut, and FFA Crazy King.

    Battlefront was actually forged in March of 2008 and I was just too lazy to post it until now. For that reason it lacks many of the "modern" forging techniques such as geomerging but it still has fun gameplay and is worth your time. Thanks again and enjoy the map.

    well this looks like a fun map but it doesnt look like u interlocked a lot in the tunnels and the top section needs some more ledges and barriers b/c if ur in the middle ur as good as dead; besides this great map

    looks like a fun map. good asthetics, interesting layout, and a cool design. im gonna have to really check this out before i decide on the gameplay re-playability. but it does look really fun. I have a question though, is the underground part connected to the river?

    good map but i think there is a tad to many power weapons. also you should add more cover to the upper part of the map
    to really bring out some gameplay, this map has some potential, good work.

    Umm No offense but you must be blind if you don't see all of the interlocking... However you do make a valid point with the ledges idea.

    I've got to be honest.. This is a wonderful map just the whole everything based around a river/waterfall idea is getting a little bit old.. Also as someone has said before me next time try not to put too many power weapons on the map. Besides that though, expert interlocking, and i'll have to download before i make an assumption on the gameplay. Qued, 4.5/5 and a smiley face: =)

    P.S. Detchro and Kion FH please don't spam.. We all like to hear that you downloaded the map but.. we'd like to hear more of what we could improve, why you rated it a 3.5/5 after only giving it positve feedback (Kion). You may not know any better but please, no one likes spam here..

    Nice, the waterfall is okay but the idea of having part of the under it is pretty cool. I saw some fusion coils under some shield doors what are those for? 3.5/5

    To answer Friction's question, yes the underground section does have access to the river and in response to DeanM12's query about the fusion coils they are there to provide some danger to anyone going for the sword which spawns between the coils. Also thanks to everyone for the feedback, it is greatly appreciated.

    looks interesting, the only thing I would say would be to raise the bridge in the last pic just a lil to avoid bumpage

    from a distance, the river and waterfall looks great. Your trenches look good as well. I like how you made sort of a new floor that consists mostly of double boxes.

    WOW simple awesome i see some absolutely amazing geomerging and interlocking and i also really like the waterfall adds some aesthetics to the map this is a definate DL

    This map is really creative, but when i first saw the name i was thinking of another stupid conquest map. I like the underground area, but it could use a little tweaking. Thats what v2's are for... you have my dl

    Looks great, your interlocking etc. is phenomenal. I like your idea for making a "nature" map with tunnels and rivers. I don't have really anything to say but, great map!

    It looks really well interlocked and the bottom floor thing is an awesome idea but the top floor seems like it would be too open. Ill DL just cause it looks cool 4/5 for sweet layout

    My data states that this map has many similarities to the maps Acropolis and China town, so I come to the conclusion that it is not very origional. However, it is very well done and looks like an entertaining game.
