Eh, it looks very good. Effects are very nice, but my only problem is that the whole thing looks blury. Not one particular spot. Uh this is kind of awkward, I dont think my opinion matters on your sigs, it should be the other way around lol
Then the focal is way too small. You gotta work on that blur. Other than that, i like the colors, but it seems lacking something. Plus, i can never come to love anime sigs. I just hate anime. Sorry. P.S. Post the stock, and then i will add more.
Alright, I fixed the focal point to be the whole girl. Blurred the hair a bit. And sword was blurred a bit more. Frankly, I think it looks pretty darn good.
Of course it's still an anime girl =D. Gotta give you points though, for always having that. It still looks a little big to me, and overall the colors arnt that great. The bottom right is too bright and drags my eyes to it more with the weird bar of orangishness going across the girl. It's also just too bright everywhere, especially the middle area of the hair. I like what you did with the chest though, looks good sharpened.
That's the problem with the stock. Believe me, I tried keeping it toned down. If I did, however, GIMP made it look like crap. Thanks though.
Frag you cant blame the stock every time someone points out an error. If the stock was that bad you shouldn't have used it. Focal, comp, lighting and colour all need work. Also looking at this thread I really dont think you are qualified to give all the advice youve been giving lately....
I do it once, and I'm all of a sudden a noob? Alright, I'll try the lighting. I like the colors a bit too much, so I don't know if I'm going to change it. Just trying a new style. I rarely do stocks, and I know I need work.
Maybe try making an all black layer on top on top ad try playing with the layer option, color overlay etc, and see if that will allow you to do more with the lighting and tone down the background colors.
Alright, I have it here after I started messing with the contrast and brightness. This is as good as it gets with that setting.
