i want to make a map with 4-5 other people, based on your favorite spot in your favorite map, (i.e the sword room on the pit, or the sniper tower on zanzibar) each person will make their own favorite part, and then they will be incorporated to play well and fit with eachother, the map will not be symmetrical, and it would help if there werent 2 sword rooms or 3 sniper towers, but i think that this could be a good way to mix up maps, maybe even do a few of them and see if we can make lockzibarshipwinderpit or something lol
As long as there are no exploits or unfair camping spots. The sword room is a good example of a camp-happy spot that I avoid during 90% of my matches on The Pit. --dc

What about a map that reflected real-world architecture? As in modeling a map to match the interior of a building that you frequent or work at or go to school in or whatever. Most buildings are square and boring, so obviously this wouldn't apply to every building out there. Next time you visit an interesting building, keep Halo in mind for a new Forge map. That is going to be my next project, and I will include photos of the building that gave me inspiration.... ...As soon as I post my two maps that have been done for like ever now. Lolz. --dc

ill join in, but do u mean re-creat a part in lets say foundry? or taking a canvas of a part, and changing weapons layouts and boxes and stufff?
in foundry, remake the exact area of choice, and then place them and link them in ways that will be useful and tactical for best gameplay
ive already started making it, if u would be so kind as to help me mak it so im not stealing. i just really want to make this map b/c i have a great layout for it. i made a doodle of it duing a state test cause i finished way early.
haha sorry. For me, so many people call Last Resort "Zanzibar" and vice-versa that they're basically synonymous. In that case, I think one of teh bases from Coag would be Awezomez.
Okay i dont have the skills to pull it off but someone HAS to do a gothic cathedral Just for the sheer irony of blowing your enemies to smitherines in a christian church. You could have a spot up top with a constant respawning pyro grenade to represent "the holy spirit coming down in tongues of fire" A flamethrower behind the altar for "lighting candles" I dunno what else,go nuts but it sounds cool to me
