Point Blank Download The key part of this map is the central location that intersects in-between the 2 “bases”. It is a very intense kill box. The rest of the map is slightly more open but leaves you vulnerable to sniper and needler fire. So choose wisely. Game types supported on this map include slayer, assault, king of the hill, oddball and capture the flag. Weapons on the map include battle rifles, assault rifles, smg’s, a shotgun, sniper rifles, needlers, a rocket launcher and maulers. There is a gravlift and power drainer available as well.
This looks like it would have pretty good gameplay which is what really matters. Although it doesn't look all that good in terms of geomerging which isn't all that important, but if you want alot of DL's then you basically have to geomerge everything you can. The interlocking that I can see is done pretty well too. Pretty good map.
N33dz moAr 1n7eRL0x, and this time I'm not joking. This map looks like one of the first foundry maps, not very impressive... I suggest learning how to interlock and geomerge and adding some creative aesthetic touches to give your map a unique look.
Just because I choose not to interlock for the sake of interlocking does not mean I haven't before. And how about download and play the map before you simply dismiss it because its not interlocked.
Don't listen to these guys. Some maps look really really good without that much interlocking, which even then you did do a lot from the pictures. I like the original Foundry feel, instead of hundreds of items smashed together. I can see what you were going for in this map and DEFINITELY achieved it. I'd suggest submitting it to atlas. Gameplay looks like it'd be amazing as long as you have correct spawn and weapon placement. I don't know where these guys are getting "needs moar interlockzing" from because from the pictures, I could easily see this on the front page. I will download. 5/5. Edit: This is the first map I have actually felt a need to comment on for a LONG time.
I'm glad you like it. The spawns should be ok ,they're pretty much default spawns for forge. I wanted the basic flow of the original Foundry but with a very slight homage to the underground section on snowbound. I love that choke point its very fun and deadly. I don't mind valid critisim when it comes to gameplay, but when all about looks that kinda weird to me.
Does a map really need Interlocking? No, not really. It looks very fun to play, regardless of forge techniques. I especially like the central area, looks very fun to fight on which is a good thing, as I can imagine most of the action will happen there. Nice map, don't be put off by the people who talk about Interlocking. In some cases, It's very helpful and can make a map much better, but with this map I can't see it having much difference.
nice map, regardless of forge techniques. your use of lines of sight for this was really good too, idk if u meant to do that but yeah. my one suggestion would be for u to anchor down those crate and wire spool towers u used.
Interlocking does make a map better and look cleaner, but your map is proof that you dont need to have a bunch of interlocking to make a really good map. I also noticed that your map is very symmetrical, this makes for amazing objective games. Nice job.
Hello guys just wanted to ask all of you to please download my map(s) as a I put alot of thought and time into them. Thank you.
Here's is another map I took some time to make and really appreciate some comments about it gameplay.
The gameplay is awesome. I don't worry about being pretty. I worry about it playing awesome. Which everyne here should do as well.
