Definition: Coteau - uplands; higher ground of a region Coteau is a small map on Foundry made for Oddball, CTF, and Slayer. Default Slayer and Oddball variants are fine, but if you want to play CTF, download Coteau Flag It is a One Flag game variant that works well on this map. Basically it has shorter respawn times and instant flag respawn when it gets dropped. There are two side hallway and a staircase leading into the base. I played the original of your map. It was pretty good, and this one looks better. I like that you replaced the shotgun with the mauler, because in my opinion it seemed to over-pwer everything else on a lot of the matches I played. I will be downloading as soon as I can get my harddrive back. Great Job. Keep Forging.
The map looks better than the first one, there are some tiny spots that are still bumpy, but the overall map has improved to something really good, great going.
nice changes; i like this better than the first and will be DL'ing it as soon as i go delete a map so i have less than 100 lol; but over all nice merging and creativity 4/5
Yeah the shotgun did seem to get really overpowering, even with no spare clips and 120 sec respawn. I played games with the mauler and it was nowhere near as overpowering. You actually had a good chance of killing the mauler wielder. Yeah there was one geomerge that no matter how many times i tried... i couldn't get it the same height as the rest of the boxes. It is smoother than v1 tho.

(You should have invited me for some testing ) EDIT: I ran some customs finally, and I posted my review below. Aesthetics Nothing too special, but all of the interlocks seem pretty smooth, and the layout is good. Gameplay I have only run a 2v2 Slayer so far. It was fun, but the map just seems to small. Me and my teammate could kill them both, and then guess where they would spawn and throw 'nades. Spawn killing was a common occurrence. Teamwork is pretty important, which I think is a good thing, but I think it is too easy to control the map. I'm not sure if you have any budget left, but if you do, definitely add more to it. I would like to see how a CTF game runs on it, but I'm not sure how well it will work, being such a small map. Overall, it's fun to play some casual games on, but the gameplay suffers from its small size.
This looks like a really good map, but is it work good with any other game types? Seems all there is now is Slayer/CTF maps or Conquest.
