Foundry Tribulation

    Tribulation is a symmetrical three level map. Its mostly built for Slayer, however the map also accommodates assault, capture the flag and king of the hill(mosh pit only).

    The bottom level contains plenty of cover and quick access to the mid level. The mid level incorporates long spans that are great for long range battle rifle skirmishes. The mid level will provide you with many options for getting to the third level. The top level holds the energy sword and is also the level containing the mosh pit for king of the hill.

    This map is very fast and intense provides you with just enough cover to reload and search for the next kill, however it is designed for quick confrontations.

    The power drainer, radar jammer, deployable cover and the bubble shield can be used.

    Camouflage and the over-shield are the 2 power ups.

    Weapons include primarily battle rifles, assault rifles, gravity hammers, an energy sword, shotgun and grenades.

    wow, hopefully i will be the first of many to comment on this great map. I will DL when i get the chance. =]

    I really like the layout of this map. I also appreciate the fact that you did not interlock every single object, "overinterlock." The only thing I am concerned about is the fact that the rest of foundry is not blocked off; it could cause problems. Overall, I think the map looks good. I give your thread 4/5 for now.

    hmmm. pretty nice.
    but i dont see how its asymmetrical. and you should put a long range power weapon like sniper or rockets, because shotty hammer and sword are all close range. or maybe take out one of them. i also dont suggest putting weapons on the groung unless teyre noticeable

    I thought about what you said and I have removed the gravity hammers and replaced them with snipers rifles, however you will need traverse the," no mans land",section to get them.

    I also removed some battle rifles and added 2 brute shots.

    These small changes really improved the map.

    Thanks again for the input.

    As far as the map not being closed off, if you venture to the open area "no mans land" you will be killed pretty quickly as there is no cover and no where to hide.

    the no mans land idea is a little underused and is a good ide but it just doesnt seem to be right for this map.
    the map its self is good ill give you that much but the gameplay looks a little repetitive and kinda boring. ill give it a play tho and get a more accurate review later.
