Simply put, I cant delete a weapon that i have placed on a map. I have the spawn floating so that the weapon will drop and i would like to move this weapon. How do i do that? thanks
What have you tried. This has happened to me but I figured out a way around it. I wonder how. Try grabbing it with a weapon holder and maneuvering it to the floor. Once you get there put the objects down and attempt to delete it. I know that there is a better idea. Until somebody posts a better method or I update my post try doing this.
Well i have simply tryed to point at the object as well as the lil bubble and it doesnt even acknowledge its there. thats all i have done... i point it it and hit delete and nothing happens
How high up is? I usually use boxes and/or crates to get that height Then I start a new round, and it will spawn on top.
well its above the MC's head. i was holding the object in the air, pressed start and saved, then ended the game and started a new one
If it was about a Spartan's height, I'd put walls or crates down for it to land. I've realized that as long as it dosen't hit the ground it is deletable. Now, because it is above his head I'd suggets using doubleboxes and/or cates and walls to "catch" the weapon. Then you can easily delete it.
Float an immovable object just under the tear-drop that shows exactly where the weapon will spawn. Start a new round and it should spawn and since it doesn't fall more than an inch or two it still counts as being un-moved. Then you can pick it up, delete it, whatever.
You need to just delete it as it falls. I you want to quicken the pace, pick the weapon and use the ammo til its gone, then go back into monitor and wait for it to fall. You can also speed up the process by going into items list (press X in monitor mode) scroll to your weapon, press X again and change item "minimum" to its full capacity. The weapon will spawn immediately
I had this problem with my clan's meeting room map when I made it. I have an aesthetic armory in it, and I deleted the "table" before deleting the weapons (doh). I did the same thing as Forgegod, I would use a weapon holder to attempt to "catch" it. Occasionally it was difficult to estimate how far away it was from the weapon holder (from a front view), but I got all of them off in the end. Other than that, if you plan on drop spawning weapons, always set them on scenary and delete them. It's so much simpler to go back, put the scenary there, and change the weapon you want (also, it makes it more symmetrical).
This gets on my **** too. Sorry if I'm a bit late to give advice, but put scenery under it so that it falls no more than its own length. That way you'll be able to grab it, edit its options etc.
