WOW I Did this with my friends and its not that hard...once you learn to think outside the box....WAY outside the box. This Is a very neatly, very intelligently crafted map and completing it is really difficult. I got Past The Red teleporter room (the water cave) and Im now under the second staircase. thats as far as i got and i admit it wasnt easy at all. The first room is actually brilliant and it took me about 10 min just to finaly figure it out. I gotta admit i was on the verge of giving up, multiple times but I was still able to make it far through it. I hope today i can finish it. 5/5 Extremely well thought out and forged. P.S. I Have one question. I will PM it to you.
Some aspects of this puzzle i really like, but some of them i do not like at all. The geomerging makes it look professional, neat, and well forged, so well done on that. But some of the puzzles are hard simply because they involve teleporters hidden in the floor or in boxes that you have either go into forge to find, or stumble upon by chance. That is what makes it hard - not knowing where the things you need to solve the puzzle are. Wandering around looking for a hidden teleporter is not fun... neither is it a puzzle. Rooms like the one with the deployable cover i really liked, but rooms like the central hub i hated. Overall i'd give it a 3.5/5. EDIT: Oh, and the other thing i didnt like was the fact that you put decoys in the map so that people think that they are doing the right thing but they are actually not, that is not fun either.
could someone PM or post a walkthrough???? I cant even get past the first room....ive got the sniper and sword, but I dont know what to do after that....
So far, this map is great. The geo-merging is top notch, and hell, pretty much all the forging done on this map is top notch. It is hard, but not too hard. I give it a 9/10, one of the best maps (so far), for puzzles. On a sidenote, got a walkthrough? >_>
Get the sword from the ceiling then kitty-corner from that is a shield sticking through a forge made wall. You need to jump and swing the sword, while doing that you the "hold LB for sniper" should flash for a second. Its hard to explain.
Looks very well merged and made but it doesn't look as confusing as some puzzle maps i have seen before. but its overally good -Tyberious
this map looks crazy, but i think i saw this map a long time ago... is this a v2 or something? anyways, i love puzzle maps, so you've got a dl from me. from the pics, it gets a 4.1/5.
puzzle maps just keep getting better and better. im amazed at how you managed to make it look good and a hell of a challenge
Great job on this map,it is very neat and organized,i got to the last room and dident know what to do,you should put a walk through video up.5/5 PS I like the water cave ideal,it reminds me of a real cave.
If this map is truely your hardest you already have my download. I will say more when I do. This question is not about help I just want to know if you need a partner or If this map should not be done with more than 1 person. I don't think you've made a map you can't beat yourself but I want to be sure. Also your map does look incredibly smooth for a puzzle and I haven't seen that in a while.
