Here is a little fact I was unaware of: Spartans do NOT take up part of your army limit! So if you have 30 units, you can still create 3 more spartans!
Here is a list of the skulls in Halo wars Source Look Daddy! - When Grunts die, their methane tanks always shoots off. Grunt Birthday Party - Grunts explode in confetti. Cowbell - Destruction physics magnified. Wuv Woo Fog Sickness Rebel Sympathizer Rebel Supporter Rebel Leader Catch Sugar Cookies Boomstick Pain Train Bountiful Harvest Emperor Start guessing what the other ones are.
Wuv Woo was a cheat in one of Ensemble's previous games, Age of Mythology. It created a flying purple hippo that shoots rainbows at your main base. Take from that what you will.
For the covenent side, what your "spatan" is it the honor guard cause i think you can have more than 3 of them... or is it that 1 prophet? Edit: In the video link above it say there is going to be flood XD you can't controll them thoung
Rebel Supporter might be local tribes that fight with you. Rebel sympathizer might be tribes not attacking you when you're near. Fog sounds like it will create a fog in the level so it'll be harder to see enemies. I can wait to see what the Boom Stick does... Army of Darkness reference anyone?
No honor guards are the equivalent of ODSTs. They are the special unit for that leader. Spartans are available to all UNSC.
spartans are thier own unit. i think maybe brutes are thier equivalent though, as it says that in the books.
ok.. Spartans are like a balance unit to the game...they have no equal...but alone they are often defeated. Honor guard are like warthogs, or Flying brutes, or I'm guessing some type of hunter the Arbiter will have. Think in chess terms ... Spartans are the knights ...while these units are the bishops... The covy don't need knights due to the fact they can have 10 more max population..more bang for bucks..
I found even more skulls. Source Source Look Daddy! - When Grunts die, their methane tanks always shoots off. Grunt Birthday Party - Grunts explode in confetti. Cowbell - Destruction physics magnified. Wuv Woo - Scarabs shoot rainbow beams made of Pure Love. Fog - No minimap. Final score will increase. Sickness - All player units have 50% less hitpoints. Final score will increase. Rebel Sympathizer - Non-player units get 25% more hitpoints. Final score will increase. Rebel Supporter Rebel Leader Catch Sugar Cookies Boomstick Pain Train Bountiful Harvest Emperor
I finished it up. Look Daddy! Rebel Supporter-"Non-player units do 50% more damage. Final score will increase." Rebel Leader-"Non-player units start with extra veterancy. Final score will increase." Catch-"All player units recharge unit abilities in half the time. Final score will decrease." Sugar Cookies-"All player units have 50% more hitpoints. Final score will decrease." Boomstick-"5% chance any non-player unit blows up upon death with explosive area of effect damage. Final score will decrease." Pain Train-"All player units train 50% faster. Final score will decrease." Bountiful Harvest- "Supplies come in 25% faster. Final score will decrease." Emperor-"All player powers recharge in half the time. Final score will decrease." I wonder if boomstick is relative to the size of the unit. Imagine a scarab sized explosion!
The Arbiter has Kamikaze Grunts. And next, Spartans take up no pop cap because they are rather useless originally. Once they take an enemy vehicle or your own vehicle, they become better. Or, as Ensemble said, it's a Kingmaker.
You can get the golden hog by reserving the Halo Wars limited edition. Also in the latest GI they gave Halo Wars a 9! It should gotten a 10 whoever agrees w/ me quote this post
The Golden Hog would have been awesome as well.... but when you're playing with multiple UNSC units, they have different colors to distinguish teammates. One of those colors is yellow... too close to the color of the golden hog.
the point is to build two, i wasn't really empasizing order when i made that. but yeah, it is better to build barracks first.
I finally beat the Covenant with the UNSC on Heroic. I used that strategy posted back on a couple pages ago where you make a lot of supply pads and then make a bunch of marines and upgrade to ODST. There were sometimes though when I was starting up, before the marines were ODST's, probably before the medic upgrade too, that the Covenant almost killed me. I want the Legendary difficulty to be a lot harder but I don't think I'll be able to win. =P Anyways, if you looked under the maps list I'm sure you noticed Blood Gulch; so suped for that. It just seems like it will be really linear so I'm not sure how it's going to work out. Hopefully we will be able to bring troops and small vehicles (warthogs, ghosts) into the tunnels that are on the side of Blood Gulch.
