Lighthouse

    I agree on the interlocking. You should also go through you're game type's and put the starting spawn points in you're map not out and try and set up the objective based items also. Other then that good job.

    Where in this map did I not interlock? If I didn't use interlocking what does interlock mean? If it means intersect objects together by setting the item to not spawn at start then putting a object inside of it then setting run min. and max the same for the item to appear inside the other I definitely have a lot of interlocking on this map. Also the sword room can be a problem but thats why there is a shotty and some maulers and ton of stickies. As for the pit in the middle I was gonna just use dumpsters but the grav. lifts look better and once you get used to them they are a piece of cake. And thanks for the comments and input guys and gals.

    If he should change anything, it should be the name. I was really dissapointed in seeing a Foundry map with some random name.

    Ok I'm not trying to sound like a **** at all but why change the name? Is it really that big of a deal. It is round like a lighthouse so it isn't completely random. If anyone should change their map names It should be people that name their maps after already existing maps. ex. Gridlock Lockout Construct thats annoying. And how many different number complexes do you think are out their Complex A45 Complex 117 Complex 343 And Facility N78 Facility 676 or the not so much used anymore Traxus Factories. I see no problem in this name. It may be slightly mislead people to think that it's an actual lighthouse for screen shots or w/e but why would I put it in the Competitive maps Section if it was just for looks? :squirrel_wtf:

    Agreed. After all, what's in a name?

    Perhaps they can't find anything wrong with your map at all and have to find something to complain about so they chose the name. Who knows?

    All i know is that it looks good and I want to download it.

    P.S. Why they name it The Pit?!? I see no pits!

    it looks like we have a coheed and cambria fan in here.
    -map looks nice and tidy btw, ill have to check it out.

    Well lighthouse makes no sense for this map and I really expected a watery level.

    when i first saw this map i thought "oh no someone stole my idea! but thats an interesting design. good job q'd for dl il post back when ive tried it out

    Yes I am A BIG CoXCa fan. And Since It's been brought up here,on Bungie and on XBL I will Explain the Complete Meaning behind the name "Lighthouse". I originally planned on making a lighthouse to take screenshots of. It was on Foundry and I pretty much had it finished but I got Bored and Deleted It While I was still in the same game I started to Create this Map. When I saved it I didn't change the Name. Since I Made the Map into a circular form I figured Lighthouse would work so I just kept the name. And If anyone in here Likes Grifball I posted 2 of my grifball maps in the same post in the mini-games forum(They are not your Average Gball courts). Also Thanks for all the Comments :]

    Oh, now I understand thanks for the information now and I see your point on how it is circular.

    Thats a good way of looking at it, nice perspective.

    I just did a Forge-through on this map and it looks really good. I can definitely see the influence of Derelict in here. And I loved the shield door ceiling. It was a nice aesthetic touch, and it shows that you'll take the extra time to make sure your map not only plays good but looks good as well.

    By the way, while in Forge mode, I simply could not find the flag spawn points. I flew around for at least 5 minutes looking for them. I finally had to load up a custom game of CTF to find them. Very interesting. Was there a reason for that, or was it just something different to do?

    Thanks For the comments everyone!

    I Accidentally saved over my canvas. So instead of re downloading a canvas or deleting the whole foundry I just used my smallest map and deleted eveything on it except flag, bomb, etc. lol
