Blackout has been linearized for more direct combat. Push through enemy lines and secure the objective. Point Blank is truly unlike any other Blackout map. I have blocked off various areas, such as the entire lift side, bottom mid, bottom library room, and pathways to those areas. Library room has been divided in half. I did all this to make Blackout more linear; more like a Conquest map. If you like Conquest, you will like Point Blank. It plays with the SWAT CTF gametype. Now, there is only one way from one side to the other, like traditional conquest. Players start in BR Tower and Snipe Tower and must traverse over top mid and enter the enemy tower. The Library Room and both bottom rooms of each tower serve as safe spawn areas. Point Blank should be played with 2v2 or 3v3, and must use the SWAT CTF gametype. wow. I haven't seen many blackout maps but this one definitely looks great. Especially because you outfitted it to conquest. This definitely looks like a DL for me, you coulda interlocked with it a bit more. I see you geomerged once, but thats all I can tell from screenshots.
Once? Actually, every immovable object on this map is either geomerged or interlocked with one exception. Besides, that wasn't my focus. The map was intended to look unique, not like a generic interlocked Foundryy competitive map.
This map is really unique. i have not seen many maps on blackout that have a lot of geomerging and merging. so good job.
wow, unique map, great locking, it's a great twist to blackout and should be an example for what blackout objective slayer maps should be. love the map, feature worthy imo. 4.5/5.
Woah! This is overall...forget that overall stuff this is off the biggest hook ever!Great pictures, map overall, lol, and Look at these merges.4/5!
Wait, I'm sort of confused... Is it a conquest map? a map for the SWAT CTF game? Or just a map for every gametype? I'm downloading it no matter what, but I'd like to get that cleared up. Anyway, the map looks great. I'm actually planning on making a map on Blackout to submit into matchmaking (what?) But if you made this with a Capture the Flag variant in mind, why did you make the map even more linear? Capture the flag is all about routes and multiple entrances into bases. If it lacks those, it turns into a camp fest or a never ending game. But I haven't even seen the map, so, I'll probably get some games on it tomorrow and get back to you with somme feedback. You'll hear from me then.
It is to be played with SWAT CTF only. Although standard traditional CTF requires many routes to the base, this map is based on the mindset "push through the enemy lines to get the flag." It sounds very unconventional, but it's a lot of fun.
"well i love of you've done with the place." thats the typical qoute for a neighbor comes over after rennovating a house. it also works perfectly with what youve done with blackout. it reminds me of narrows now. anyway nice merging and ill be playing swat ctf on it soon so ill get back to you. 4.911234543/5 right now.
very nice map. i like how its on blackout and its so well forged. before today i thought that forging on black out was really something no one did, but you convinced me otherwise. i like the flow of the map and how its forged. the geomerging is amazing and it looks like you spent a lot of time on it. i believe this map is feature worthy. i will download this map and have a blast playing some games on it.
Thanks. I'm not too sure about feature worthy: seeing as I am up against Foundry maps built from scratch, most would argue that I didn't do enough to make this map my own... probably wouldn't happen. I see a lot of decent maps on Blackout, just none that actually take place on Blackout. There are many great floating Blackout maps, but few that utilize Blackout's structures.
