Killzone: by mrod009 "You are locked in this abandoned training facility, armed with a magnum. Enemies lurk around corners. Aim for the head." EDIT: There was a minor update to the map so the topic is gone for the old one and the new version is in my fileshare! will b posted in forums soon. Map & Gametypes: (Head Hunters, VIP Hunters) http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx?gamertag=mrod009 First, this map will not work without the gametype Head Hunters or VIP Hunters. Download from my fileshare. Why? Because there are no respawn points or weapons. Killzone is a pop-n-stop Elimination style map on High Ground. It is loaded with lots of cover. Main Room It is designed for 2-6 players FFA or up to 8v8 with teams. (Played best with 3v3, 4v4, 5v5) Players all have 1 life and 2000 percent damage resistance so they only die if shot in the head. They also have normal radar (10 m) so crouch around the map and move slow. Radar has been put on so players have to tactically move around the map instead of running around looking for enemies. Using Cover If a player is camping behind cover too long, expose him by shooting the fusion coils or propane tanks Bunker: The two rooms are connected via two way teleporters. This is the stairway that takes u to one of them. It leads to this room: In this room there is also a mini garage: Equipment included: 2 hidden trip mines (act as "alarms") (these dont kill enemies but can warn u what direction they coming 2 flares (spawn after 150 seconds) 1 radar jammer (spawn after 120 seconds) Gametype Differences: Head Hunters (FFA Slayer) *Can be changed to Team Slayer by enabling it in options! 75% speed. 2000% damage resistance. No shields, Magnums, Color Black VIP Hunters (2 Sided VIP) 75% speed. 2000% damage resistance. No shields, Magnums, Color Black VIP Traits: 75% speed. 2000% damage resistance. No shields, Plasma Pistols, Color White Remember to aim for the head and only use the gametype Head Hunters or VIP Hunters. @@@Leave feedback and reviews after playing!@@@
I like the detail in which the items are placed. I hate it when people just throw random crap around... But this is a good map, although, I wondered why there was a random Weapon Holder in the middle of that one room...
If the required custom gametype seems a bit outrageous, like 2000% damage resistance, it probably belongs in the Casual Maps section.
The radar jammer spawns on top of that after two minutes into the game. You are rewarded with that if you hold the center. Some of the objects placed may look messy but they are placed at angles for cover. some pallets look crooked but were put that way so u can crouch walk into it so it covers ur side. the 2000% is so u have to be shot in the head to be killed. this game can get really competitive with the right amount of people
Yeah, I guessed that you needed to get headshots to actually kill the people. The Magnums only and the 2000% damage resistance kinda gave that away.
