i dont know if my way is the easiest, but i place a bridge against the double box at a slant that i want the double wall. after ive set the angle up, i make the double box not spawn at start.

Then, I hold the wall up against the bridge, save and quit. When you come back into the game, Brace the wall with receiver nodes and slowly push it into the ground... the end.

If someone has an easier way, I wouldnt mind learning it myself.

Which way do you push it? I have seen multiple ways.

Use a man cannon to press the wall against the bridge. No save/quit required. Same for the nodes you use to brace it.

Start it with doors, but when you get close to the final merge, despawn the double wall and the braces above and below it, place 2-3 boxes on top of the double box you started with, interlocked into each other. Use those instead of doors to push the wall the last little bit so it ends at the perfect height.

Starting it with the boxes instead of doors sometimes works too, but I usually do 2-3 door pushes first, because occasionally the wall will shoot right back out at you instead of going into the ground. That happens more often with double box ramps than double wall ramps though, cause they start higher.

thanks ladnil, and i already used the box push to finish method. i just never used the mancannons for bracing.

lol dude that sounds a little bit confusing. Ill have to try it later, maybe its easier, though the mancannons sound as if it will turn the wall in wrong

Do you place the doors on top of the slant or at the opposite end? One pushes it down, the other pushes it diagonally into the ground (like on Bl00d's vid). I am interest in whicj way is best.

sigh... I really need to find the words to explain this better, every single time I try and explain it people act like I just tried to explain quantum theory.

Send me a friend request(tag in sig) and when I'm on message me about it and I'll give you a demonstration.

Maybe if I remember this weekend I'll write a guide with pictures.

Edit: Actually screw trying to remember on my own, I've got three separate alarms for it now. Friday Saturday and Sunday nights, if I forget then I phayl

That method is nice, and I've seen some step by step posted somewhere by someone(my memory is awesome) for making double wall ramps the right height that way, but you can't really control the final height and angle is with that method without trigonometry or trial and error.

Though like I said, I do remember reading a way to get double wall ramps to one box height with that method, just they're always the same angle, and it requires like 10 steps of setting up braces and measuring with wall widths and such.

I think I know what you are talking about, and I think someone did something in forging 101 on this topic. Can't remember their name though, sorry. Just look around in forging 101, and hopefully you'll find what you need.
