    Map Description
    Observatory is a map designed and intended for conquest game variants. It took me about 3 months of off and on forging and a week of finalize testing to finally finish this beauty of a map. My basis for this map was to build a conquest map that was aesthetically pleasing to the eye that also offered great competitive game play,and i like to think i have accomplished just that. Game play offers a full contact style of game play through the use of fence separated barriers along the path of the territories. This map is 100% symetrical with a solid layout for easy flow between battle fronts.




    Weapon List
    Smg - 4(2 by each teams spawn)
    Spiker - 4(2 on each upper level by the lift)
    Plasma Rifle - 2(One on either side of the middle structure)
    Battle Rifle - 4 (2 spawn at start on each teams 2nd territory, 2 spawn 45 seconds in on the upper level b the tele boxes)
    Sniper Rifle - 2(0 clips, Spawn by each teams upper level window box)
    Spiker grenades - 4(all 20 second respawn)
    Plasma Grenades - 2(ONLY located in the teleboxes to kill yourself if needed)
    Frag Grenades - 3(1 by each teams spawn and 1 by the dividing wall in the middle territory)

    And another Epic conquest map is added to the list. This map looks extremely fun as conquest maps go. I love the look of the layout and the middle territory room, not to mention the box "carpet". I will have to add this to my Q list as soon as my hard-drive comes back. Great Map! Keep Forging.

    This looks like a really great map, it shows effort and time put in to it right away. I love the interlocking and using shield doors, people don't appreciate shield doors enough these days. This should be featured, the aesthetics are stunning and I bet the map plays beautifully. Well done for a junior member.

    dude, my eyes just got out of my skull by like 2 meter when I saw the first pictures already, this is sooooooo bad*ss, I can't believe how epic it looks and I don't even have a clue how the gameplay is, no more words are epic enough to describe this, awesomeness.

    dude, this looks amazing, im away on vacation, but when i get home i will definitely give this a few custom games. expect a more in-depth review then. 5/5 rofles. :D

    This is pretty epic. Conquest maps are amazing, and this just blew my mind. DLing right now. 4.5/5. Keep up the good work, man.

    i dont like conquest maps that much but i have to appluad this map; it has great symmetry as well as merging; this map may change my mind about conquest maps great job

    Hey dude, this map looks awesome, but because of this small detail, I don't think you can submit it into the forge off. Honestly, this map looks amazing, and when I started to make my conquest maps, I was pretty much going for the same thing, but couldn't pull it off, so I took alternate routes. Amazing Job, this is the best one I have seen.

    I just played Conquest on this and it was awesome. The forging is spectacular and I love how you can see different places but not go there through the use of fence walls/boxes. The weapon placement was flawless and the whole game I was thinking that this was awesome. Great map. Really hope this wins the Conquest ForgeOff.

    I played some games of Conquest here and first off, your aesthetics are easily your best area, but gameplay was ifi in some of the games.

    Seriously, sometimes I either couldn't capture the first territory or nobody on the other team captured their territories. This made the game quite frustrating in the beggining as I spent a whole 1:30 trying to get that first territory. The second territory was much better, simply because of that wonderful pallet. We could hide behind it and stay safe long enough to capture it. However, the path out of territory 2 wasn't very clear. I know my first game I spent way to long searching for territory 3 and every other game I could still hvae been easily turned around. one more problem was the teleporter door. I saw the tele-box in the beggining and I knew there was going to be a teleporter. So I looked in game for it. I couldn't find itt, and even in forge I couldn't find it. Someone finally got in the game and showed it to me. It was annoying how you had to jump into it, as most people wouldn't think of it as a teleporter, and no one would think you had to jump.

    Aside from those problems, the rest of the game played great. THe aesthetics are really top notch and the geomerging/interlocking is forged to perfection. Kudos on that. However GAMPLAY > AESTHETICS so this really looks awesome in posts and paper and gets you all exited about gameplay, but that fails to live up to its expectation. DOnt get me wrong though, this is a good conqeust map, and it certainly is better than some of them I've recently seen.

    I do like this map and I can vouge for its very good gameplay . I playtested this map and it was one of the better conquest maps and i wouldn't be surprised if this did well in the contest. Good map element very balanced and fun map. :]
