Ok I'm seriously bummed on what I want to do for a living after college. I want to be a

    movie actor (Probably won't happen),

a rapper (Won't earn a dime because all people think of rap is the failures on the radio),

a soldier (Haven't talked to anyone about this, I probably should)

but the bottom line is I don't care I just want to raise a family but not be miserable. So what would be a good job where I can earn some good money and still live a life?

I'm really sure with all the statistics for job earnings and all, but I know, that one of the main things in life, will be job satisfaction. Make sure that you do something you enjoy.
Money is important, so don't forget it, but you have to enjoy what you're doing.

Think about what you like doing and investigate jobs in that sort of region.

I like to be a doctor, or something in the medical field. I haven't decided. I'll probably go to Minnesota for schooling.

The best way to go in the Army is if you go in for quite a long time.
For example, it's better to sign up for 22 years in the British Army
rather than 5 years because once you have served your service
you get a free military pension for the rest of your life which is great
and also earns you alot of cash.

Say you join the forces at 18, when you've served your 22 you'll only
be 40 with your pension fully paid for and you have 20 years to earn
your wages without paying any money into a pension scheme.

Also the Army is a great place to be since you begin to feel like you
belong there, like a Rugby or Football club.

As for me, I plan to be in the Civil Engineering or Architectural industry
which is like building bridges, skyscrapers or any form of structure that
    somebody wants you to build.

But you are being payed to eventually kill or take the chance of being killed in a foreign country. It's not like other jobs where it's just dangerous. These people are TRYING to kill you. The only way you could ever get me to join the army is if there was a third world war, and even then it'd be as a medic. However, I do support our troops in Iraq and thank them for everything they do for me every day.

Yes there is a chance of that but you are doing a good service for your
country and many assume that when you go in the forces you have to
be an infantryman where the reality is that some simply aren't up to the
task or that you skills are necessary elsewhere.

Instead of you being an infantryman you could be a better Artillery Operator, Medic or Engineer.

In the Artillery you're 20 miles behind the front line with a next to no chance
of being shot at. Since most soldiers now know first aid Medics aren't needed
as much as they were before since they can buy enough time to evac victims
so more Medics are based at camps further away now and Engineers normally
move in AFTER the conflict has happened so these.

I may not be entirely right and i admit that, but most jobs aren't as dangerous as many think.

Anyway I just want to play in a band, and write books for my whole life. I'll probably play the stock market, invent something amazing and make a lot of money... hey it could happen!

I would suggest joining the military, but first, I would figure out what you want to do in it. I know most people (or the average uneducated American citizen) Think all soldiers are infantry, flying, or on boats. While that makes up a lot, the job opportunities are endless, and you get great benefits.

Occupationally wise, yes it is interesting, you have to learn to not attach yourself too much to one place, because you may move, if you are in that field of course.

Also, figure out what branch you would want to join, I'm joining the Marines personally, and that was after a lot of research, and I decided they would be the best branch for me to be in. Depending on your skills and interests, join a branch you would enjoy.

That's a very interesting field to me, for many, many reasons. I'd be honored to support it in any way I can. The problem is I'm an arts major, and not at all inclined towards math or science.

I'm really getting into anthropology / cultural studies, so I'll probably find a place in the world doing something along those lines.

I don't know if this meant to become, here's what I wanna do for a job thread but...
I'm hoping that once I finish Year 12, I'll take a gap year, work earn some money, then undertake a course in Graphic Design at a University. I don't know exactly what I want to do for a living but I know I want to do something in graphic design.

A career in film, to put it simply. I've begun working my way into it already, and have set my sights on to it being my future career. As for where I would like to be in it, I am not sure. I've considered Directing, Director of Photography, Camera Operator, or Editor. However, it is my dream to be like Robert Rodriguez in the sense that I end up doing a bit of everything on my own. It really allows you a great range of creative freedom.

Ya Common is very talented, and yeah that would be my dream job.

Thought about it but I'm not doing good in biology memorizing all the names and organ/cell functions

Thought about that too with the possibilities of us meeting with another race or habitable planet and that really big atom smasher.

And about the military branch, I was thinking of infantry men frontline, but using artillery sounds like a good job. I think my dad has bin encouraging me to join the Nat. gaurd which would be even better since I'll be at home

And last thing i forgot to add is a movie director, I have some really good ideals for movies (Like a fallout movie)

Don't mean to sound harsh here, but I'd bet anything you're not the only person to have thought of a Fallout Movie. Video Game movies aren't really original movie concepts as well.

And I was just like to throw in Blood Rayne. Worst game movie ever, it was terrible. Turning games into movies just doesn't seem to work.

But I'm also interested in writing/directing movies, I'm currently taking a class on it right now, but I have to be my own writer-director-cameraman because only like 6 people actually took the class.
