Its pretty safe to say that every single games has at least a few glitches

this is what i was kind of guessing but i wouldn't have put it past Microsoft to say " sorry guys your screwed."

The #1 thing I love about Halo Wars is the Friggin' Music!
    It's Awesome!

Guys, I'm pretty sure I know what Sgt. Forge's carpet bomb looks like. It was in one of their screenies.

This is what it looks like. Note dirt flying, that is what a carpet bomb generally looks like.

Here's what's going to be dropping them. Note huge explosions behind them.

Really? I hated the music. Obviously they couldn't get the rights to the real Halo music so they had to make their own, and NOTHING can beat the Halo music. its epic...

    Yea it's great.
@ Kilron, I'm pretty sure Marty O'Donell composed all of the Halo Wars music.

I was impressed by the demo. I was going to get it anyways, mainly for the Mythic Maps (I'm impatient) but now I'm buying it for the game, the maps are just an awesome bonus.

Marty O Donnell did not compose any of the Halo Wars Music. Stephen Rippy did. Ensemble dude.

And The Demo Blew me away. I wasn't expecting much but damn, this is a pretty damn good RTS. It works perfectly on the console. Sure its pretty simplified but it feels like Halo and thats what matters. Can't wait for it. Feb 26th! Singapore!

Ah, so you guys are in with the Aussie/Kiwi release date then.

Definitely an AustrailAsian release. Nice we finally have something to hoard over the rest of the world. If only for a few days.

Well I am sure many people didn't like it. I'd say at least 1/4 of them didn't know what it was and just downloaded it because it said "Halo" in it. That is crazy that it "easily" broke the one day record. But that also depends on what day it came out, if it was on the front page of the MP, etc...

Well that was the dumbest quote ever.

You're saying Halo Wars, a game based in the Halo universe with the assistance of the people at Bungie studios, the people helping them, couldn't get the rights to use the Halo music, but they could get the rights to EVERYTHING else...

    You're a moron.

The Halo 2 music was different to the Halo 1 music because it would just be lazy and utterly moronic to use the same music. It's the same style of course, because it's a sequel. Same for the Halo 3 music being different to the Halo 2 music, for the same reasons...

The Halo Wars music is different but in the same style. Not to mention different composers. Anyway, it has to be different so it can easily get more intense when in battle or mellow when just building up at the start with it transitioning seamlessly.

Either way, your statement was so incredibly stupid...

I know. Who in their right mind would think that Ensemble couldn't get the rights to the music. "Oh, you can have the story, Spartans, Grunts, the title, Master Chief, the ships, the vehicles, but no music." I actually enjoy the Halo Wars music a lot. I always enjoy well orchestrated music in my games, and Halo in general definitely delivers outstandingly. I like the music in all three Halo games, and the change is good. If they had the same music across all three games, I might start to kill myself. I'm sure Recon will deliver.

I've perfected my strategy to fighting as the UNSC on Heroic difficulty in Skirmish:

    - Build a supply pad and then a reactor.
    - When both are built, make the pad a heavy supply pad and build two more supply pads.
    - Build another reactor then a barracks and a vehicle depot
    - While they're building, update the warthog to however high you can get it with however many reactors you have built at the time, then get the scout warthog to collect some crates.
    - Update your supply pads to heavy supply pads and then attack the insurrectionists at the forerunner supply base. Then take it over. You now have plenty of moneeyz! Update your reactors and build some stuff!

That's how I do it, but I don't like playing as The Covenant. not as experienced, and the Prophet of Regret's soundbites are childish and piss me off.

I thought I was going to get Halo Wars limited edition just for the Mythic Map Pack. Then I played the demo.
Now I'm getting it for both. ;)

You know it's ironic, because I was going to get Halo Wars because I loved RTS's, and then Bungie announced that Mythic was coming with the LE. So I'm really excited. March 3rd here I come.

I just finished reading through the thread, and wanted to say a couple of things.

If you people think 3v3 will be impressive, you should get one of the Command and Conquer games for the PC. You can play 4v4 games there. I played one once, and it was glorious. At any one time you can have all 4 of the opponents attacking you, and you can lead an attack on all four yourself.
Now, it gets quite laggy, but as more people get eliminated, the lag subsides.

Secondly, the only RTS I have played that I don't like is Supreme Commander for the 360, and that's probably because there are too many things in that game.
I have BFME2, Kane's Wrath, and Red Alert 3, all for the 360. All very, very good games.

    Can't wait for Halo Wars.

Oh, and the Mythic Map Pack. ;)

I am really looking forward to Halo Wars, but I was a little disappointed that they changed some stuff from the screenshots I saw about a year ago.

I don't like how I can't build the bases where I want them and that there are already designated places for them. And the scorpions look almost like plastic little toys! lol They looked a lot more real from what I saw a year ago. So much of it has changed, but I still liked playing the demo and I am still getting the limited edition! :D

And if you want to see what I mean, look at these:
