Paintball This is my map "Paintball" I know that this is not a very original idea but when I looked at the paintball map that made it to Bungie Favorites awhile back I felt like not much thought was put into the map so I thought, "Hey I'm not the best forger but I think I could do better," (no offense to the other creator). So this is the end product of my work. You spawn on either A or B side (don't use any team colors other than blue and red). When you and your team spawn you're all behind cover with several carbines sitting in front of you. Pick up a carbine then move to cover. On the left of A side (right of B) is the snake path. On the right of A (left of B) is a two leveled bunker. Out front are some barriers and forklifts to hide behind. This is my first post so I hope everything worked out okay. Okay, for a first post, it looks pretty good, the map itself looks a little empty to be using carbines though. a slightly raised sniper tower type thing would be cool on this map too i think. Nyways, glad you got those pics. working

EDIT: Hey great job on the map this has got to be the first paintball map ive ever seen thats actually umm good also the fact that you didnt give to much or to little cover is also good but i do got a question what do you do about spawn camping? do the people that just spawned have 2 second invisibility or something?
Yea man,I love paintball maps,I am honestly thinking about making one myself,But what i was going to say is that this map could use some interlocking and merging.The barriers should really be interlocked because when your hiding,bullets should be able to hit you,and if you interlocked it,they couldnt,but good map
Yes interlocking is good but, barriers cannot be interlocked, because they are moveable objects, only unmoveable objects can be interlocked. Or at least to my knowledge. But thanks for the advice.
Yeah....iv seen worse and BETTER umm use more uses of cover ummm yeah some interlcoking yeah thats bassaily it 2/5 and maybe make a v2 thats really it thanks tho
Yeah it is pretty empty but plays well. Generally people move to the right or left so there wasn't much need for a ton of cover. The only reason I used carbines was because they remind me of paintball guns; in the way that they fire as fast as you shoot, colored shots, and are accurate. A sniper tower does sound good but, I don't know how big it should be and if there is enough room for a relatively big tower and you would be able to see over too much of the map. But I'll think about it if I make a v2.
A paintball map requires a lot of cover, and this map just has too much open space. Some of the objects seemed to be placed a little carelessly as well. Try and interlock some boxes and then Geomerge them lower to the ground, or add some barriers with weapon holders on top. Its a fun map with a lot of people, nevertheless. 3.7/5
I wasn't trying to bump. I got some PM's about the link not working so I wanted to tell people that I got it fixed.
I didn't realize radar was on... it's not that important, or at least the way I play, because the idea is to stay on your side and I made it difficult on purpose to get a cross, as seen with small amount of cover in the middle. If you do end up playing without radar tell me how it was and I'll consider changing the gametype to make no radar. Thanks for the input and playing on the map =)
