I am leaving FH. At least for a while, so i want to leave with a few of my most favourite things that i have made. But first, i want to thank a few people: Deepmonkeypaw- Go back to the first pages of the G&A, and you will see him. He was the dominant sig maker here on forge hub, and he inspired me to begin creating things. Reynbow- Having never gotten in a fight with him, he inspired me. Zstrike- I'm sorry i dont call you pigglez, but i will always know you as zstrike. I will remember you and come back for you my love! Diz, Knight, linu, you were all inspirations to me. EDIT: and playahata! how could i forget you?? you rank just below zstrike TDH and Whisper, i didnt know you guys but you were good with GFX, and i respect that. Now for the favourites i have made over the year: (yeah, ive been on FH about a year and a month now) These three, i know aren't too good, but i picked them so you guys can see how my style was before i learned to use brushes and then to what i am today using filters and all that good stuff. Basically, i would take an image, and extend it using the clone stamp tool. The cool thing about this was that i only used colours and textures found within the image. after that, i started to learn other things. i downloaded some fonts, and with a certain font- Abbadon, in fact, i made my "logo", which has sort of stuck with me today. i still love it. The above image was definetly one of my favourites, and still is, minus the text. i just love how it looks. Then came the avatar i still carry with me today: Seeing my artwork, some guy.. i dont remember his name, approached me with an offer to "design for their upcoming site". well, i accepted and made a pretty sad first attempt. fortunately, it impressed them This group is now called Legendary Gaming. I sorta faded out on them after a while. (dont worry i return later in the story to become a hero!) Next, i learned about smudging and using stock images. I created a series of signatures i dubbed "The magic series" or something like that after the card game "Magic: The Gathering" (they have some great pictures for sigs, by the way. If you simply google wallpapers from them, you can get some great images if you are into knights and mages and the like.) I also created a few things afterwards, this was when i was first introduced to colour filters and the like. One of these things was a higher quality of my avatar: The one above was really a breakthrough for me. i felt that it looked really professional to me.. Next comes a longer period where i was sort of mediocre and had barely any improvement.. it was like an artist's block. a couple of the best from this period were: (the one above was originally made for me, but a fellow community member really liked it so i remade it for him.) Next, i began to have some interest in web design, and started out designing some posters for LG This sig, many of you should recognize. it was a favourite of mine and is still a favourite to this day. I started to really like the pop-out style and began producing more of these types of stuff: (made for my dear friend zstrike, who donned it for many a day) Ah yes, now the web design really caught on: I made another pop-out sig, and then sort of stopped making good sigs for a while:
Tried making ranks for halo 3 mythbusters: which they didn't accept, so i made a rank pack: (if you click on the picture, you can download it for free) I ended up getting a little intersted in signature design again and made a few fairly good signatures (one being the one in my actual sig): Also, here is the pretty much unseen Assassin's Creed 2 game design i did: (i think i updated it a little more, i don't know how recent the picture is.) I end with this, a photoshop i did a while ago during.. well you can figure it out yourself.. and
Forget someone? -cough-douche-cough- We will miss yee sir knight(k-nig-it). May your amount of contribution go counted down as one of the top potatoes of history. Lolspazzm
I really did not see this coming. Knight kninja, you really were a great addition to this site. I don't know if you remember, but you're what got me interested in making signatures. It seems so long ago we first had that conversation, accompanied with Zach. You really were a great friend, and never asked for nothing in return. You've done so many great things for these sites, and really enjoyed doing it. You will live in G&A forever, and I'll always remember you as a great friend. <3 Really, I don't even know what to post anymore. You actually have affected my time here in a huge way. Really though, good luck.
Thats too bad, you produced a lot of really cool pieces of art. Hope you come back 2 times better and amaze us all.
I'm sorry to say that this is my first post in the G&A section of Forge Hub, but I really like your sigs they show dedication and hard work. Hope you get a designing job later in your life, you're really good at it!
Loved your sigs a lot. The one of Star Wars: Republic Commando actually got me into making my own sigs (granted they are really bad at the moment). You will be missed. Come back soon.
Hey KK i got to know you for a while and I know you to be a really nice guy. Well always have distortion!
I love these: Thanks for the shout out Sad to see you leave, but I expect you'll be back eventually. Have fun with whatever you're leaving to do, though.
