    This is my second time posting on Forge hub and i thank you guys for the input on my forge creations. This map is a sniping mini-game that i'm aware isn't fully interlocked. I personally feel it isn't very bumpy and if im wrong or a merged version is desired please let me know.
    Map: Trenches

    The object of this game is for the Red and Blue teams to snipe each other from across the base

    You are in a trech where you can croutch and not be seen
    [​IMG]

    The sniping on this map is challenging and no-scopes are nearly impossible

    The gametype is a basic sniper/magnum start with unlimited ammo and 200% gravity to keep the players from jumping alot. (link will be up later)

    I wanted to post this map as soon as possible because all my friends who play this with me agree it isn't aestetically pretty, but it features excellant and unique gameplay.

    good idea for sniping practice but pretty... unoriginal 3.5/5

    yea, i agree with the guy above. also i imagine theyred be a alot of spawn killing. try to make some shield doors or barriers or something to make the map a bit more exciting. overall, 4/10

    so the concept has been used before, but it is a good concept, i would recommend making anoter with safe spawns
    and a bit of variety, like ramps and dips and stuff like that. keep the players to there own sides , but open up slits eveywhere, keep on forging

    Thanks for the feedback, though some of the things you said have me wondering if you guys even played it. Spawn killing isnt much problem and you have to stay on your side.it is impossible to get out

    This looks very sloppy and unoriginal, though I like what you were going for. You should really clean it up and may be add some aesthetics while your at it. Also yeah spawn killing looks like a problem so some cover in the bases where people can spawn behind would help greatly. Overall 2.5/5. Just make a v2 and clean it up

    By no means is this map unoriginal, nor is it sloppy, though the concept seems far to simplistic. I could picture myself falling asleep 5 minutes in (not literally). Anyhow, take your time and think of more things to add upon this.

    It's cool but try and add a twist (like put something in the middle to make it harder to snipe or something). Also, spawn killing would be a huge problem. Fix it up and it might be worth a download. Still, looks pretty clean. Overall 4/10.

    i have just tried this map and it is awesome. I have seen other maps like this but they were not forged as well as you made it. spawn killing really isnt bad at all. could use some interlocking tho. 5/5

    why not just have a spawn modifier, granting respawned people with slight camo, invulnerability, and they deal no damage? simple gametype change.

    and how about limited ammo, but have a set of random spawning snipers and slits in certain areas to premote movement?

    put some aesthetics in like some crap in the middle area or something like that. make it look intersting.

    This was a fun map to play for about 10 minutes. After that the game play got dry and untasteful, if you no what I mean.

    However, after I saw this many ideas went off in my head and one of them is extending the trenches into the middle more, but still with the same concept. More barriors, but not too much would spice up gameplay more. Good idea though.
