I think the lighting is off. The shadows should be behind the spartan and his face should be illuminated. Also trying doing some sort of effect using grenades.
Congrats on the Recon, you deserve it. To be honest, I like your Mark V version better. This definitely isn't bad, I like it, but the other one's better.
People obviously aren't appreciating this screenshot for what it is. Just because it doesn't have a brightly colored overused effect doesn't mean it isn't good. The lighting is excellent, along with the location. It almost looks realistic and I honestly like this screenshot, it's in my top... It's more artistic than it is flashy, and that's why I appreciate it. Great work!
I've been seeing this type of effect done a lot, green spartan in a jungle-ish area blending in. Doesn't mean it takes away from teh awesome. and the recon makes it just that much better lol. 4.5/5 for the shot, 9001/5 for the recon.
yeah, i know it's not my best shot, I was just excited and wanted to get a quick screenshot of my new armor.
although in my opinion it isn't as great as mark V I still think it's a great screenshot. The light on the right looks like the was an explosion but Mr Recon couldn't care because he is to busy looking at the leaf : ] another great screenshot 4/5
