This map is my first attempt at making a flying map. It is PERFECT for Infection, and Infection only. Spartans spawn in front of the Spartan Eagle and must climb a few Crates, and go through a teleporter that will take them to the top, but be careful, it gets crowded jumping up the boxes, and if you fall, there may just be a Zombie waiting on you. At the top of the level, they will find Snipers, Battle Rifles, Turrets, Shotguns, and lots of equipment. But use your weapons wisely, the respawn time has been increased dramatically for ammo. There are two Mongeese for daredevils wanting to drive around and shoot the Zombies, but I recomend only the most skilled at doing drive-by's attempt this. The Zombies, on the other hand, spawn at the other side of the map, with teleporters on different channels, sending you to different places on the Spartan Eagle. The Zombies also have Mancannons placed about the level that will shoot you high into the sky and hopefully land you on the base. There are also big sheilds placed about the level that the Zombies can run behind to dodge bullets, and make their way to the Spartan Eagle. wait (sry if this is considered spam) but, how did you get fence walls and boxes on stand off? i thought you can only have those on foundry interesting...
Um, because I clicked 'X' when I was the moniter, and went to Scenary, and chose Double Boxes and Fence Boxes...

Re: Spartan Eagle: A floating, well thought out, insane Infection map! I think we already know you won't listen buUuuuuuUuut... Ammo should never respawn. Make those humans save every last bullet. Rounds should ideally end within three minutes. With every human dead under most circumstances. If you want a quality map, the zombies should complain that the humans are too powerful AND the humans should complain that the zombies are too powerful. But no one would ever want to play a balanced infection map. That's just silly.

It sounds like you've already had quite a laugh playing it though, so kudos! One Sided CTF, with the flag being tossed waaay down from the eagle above sounds fun. You make good points Esponeo, but you can't apply that philosophy to ALL infection maps, it depends on the geometry, the tone of the game and the players preferences. I'm sure you know that though.

Re: Spartan Eagle: A floating, well thought out, insane Infection map! Maybe I could install One Sided CTF seeing as how 2 people have mentiond it. Are you saying have the flag at the top of the base and have it brung down to some spot, or the flag on the ground and you have to bring it up?
Re: Spartan Eagle: A floating, well thought out, insane Infection map! Fixed. No ammo respawn, I also added an extra Active Camo and Oversheild in the traps to make them more tempting to go into.
Re: Spartan Eagle: A floating, well thought out, insane Infection map! You've got two pages, that's more feedback then the map I put up here got. Anyways, floating bases have been very overdone and aren't fun. From the sounds of other posts it doesn't seem like this is a very well thought, insane, or balanced infection map. You need to go back and improve it. You need to have more to it than just a floating base, it has to look good, and it has to be balanced and fun play.

That way you can arm the map to the teeth, and then when you chuck it down to the capture point, you will be happy as can be! And yes, floating bases are old news. But that's no reason not to pursue this map further and use it to improve your forging.
