i must say, this is a pretty epic map the enclosed tunnels give you a really odd sense that the back rooms/tunnels are bigger than they seem, i dont know if its just me, but it has a really cool effect. 5/5 and a dl (my second dl in a long while), ill get back to you with more after a forgethrough.
This looks like a pretty good aesthetically based map. But the Gametype looks a little wacked. Only two routes in a small tunnel...? Atleast take out grenades. Other then that it seems like it would play pretty well. Send me an invite sometime LI I III II I is my gamertag My brother plays also so i may not respond right away.
<< Update 2/3/09 >> I just finished SLAC Conquest, which blocks off the lower tunnel so you can't flank the opposing team and the weapons are changed according to the rules of Conquest, there are also some cosmetic changes to the red base. It is designed to be played with Conquest v3. You can download the map here: SLAC Conquest I have yet to test the map, so if there are any problems in gameplay please notify me on this thread. I will post detailed pictures and a diagram of the weapon layout shortly. -KevinXI
I only got to play a small 2v2 game on this, and somehow, it slipped my memory to post my thoughts on it. Visually, the map is stunning. The first few pictures show off the map well, and it looks very similiar in person. Sometimes maps have camera angles that deceive and make them look awesome, but this one truly does look amazing. As for the gameplay, it was somewhat linear, but enjoyable. I am much more into have a million different routes to take, such as like... say ghost town. The idea was executed well though, and i think its a wonderful map. Keep me updated for when you release more.
